I removed star because of a quality issue in the work (a missed caulking led to a water leak). The issue was addressed immediately but I believe that this could have been avoided had the foreman reviewed all aspects of the completed work."

"Our project manager, Manny, and crew supervisor, Jorge, did a great job with our roof replacement today! Manny was very communicative and helpful throughout the repair. Jorge and the crew were efficient and did a very thorough clean up when finished. Our only concerns revolve around the initial reason we scheduled a repair, which was due to a ceiling leak after a rain storm. The sales person that came out was very nice and informative. He told us that while he could not determine the source of our leak, we needed a new roof. However, in our naivete, we forgot to wait on our insurance assessor before making any decisions. Post insurance assessment, we had a hard time getting answers from either the project manager or sales manager, and just moved forward with the replacement hoping it fixed our issue. Long story short, while the level of service and overall customer service were great, we had a major repair done that may not even be related to our issue. Our roof likely could have waited for a repair. Service=excellent! I would 100% recommend, just make sure you actually need a new roof."

"Our review is based on the purchase (part 1) for replacing siding for both side of our home. Jacob L. was very professional, on time, and honest. He knows what he is selling. We learned a lot about our home during his presentation. Before we bought our home we paid for a professional home inspection. We thought our house inspector was very good but he did miss something---the siding on the sides of our home was installed extremely bad. Jacob pointed out so much that we just didn't know and should have be caught during our home inpection. Thanks Jacob!!"

The guttering and fascia repair will be done soon. Emily Rinaldo, the HCR marketing rep., gave a thorough and lengthy (3 hours) presentation on every aspect of the roof. She is personable, professional, and knowledgeable. The well-manned roofing team arrived on the day stated and completed most of the roofing in one day. The roofers had been trained by HCR and were not day-laborers or sub-contractors. They returned early the next morning and completed their work in a couple hours. No unpleasant surprises here! Financing is available."

"I purchased a roof inspection and tune-up theough Angie’s list. I was contacted quickly to set up the appointment and provided a reminder prior thereto. The technician was Mike G. who called about 10 minutes before arrival. He explained what he would do, then proceeded to inspect the attic and roof, making some repairs to the roof as necessay. When completed, we sat down to review pictures and discuss options. Mike G. explained things clearly but did not pressure us to do anything at this time. When the time comes to repair or replace the roof, we will definitely contact American Home Contractors."

"Andrew arrived on time. He was professional and courteous. He answered all my questions, and seemed quite knowledgeable.
He put on booties before entering the house, and there was no mess in the bathroom after the work was finished (replacing tank flapper). 
As part of the service, he inspected the water heater, explained that the balloon was filling with water, and that the water heater should be replaced soon. It is 14 years old. He said it could last another month, or several years, but it was not a good sign that the balloon was almost full of water. After a quick and cursory glance online, I'm thinking that his recommendation seems valid and trustworthy. I'll do more research, but so far so good.
I will see how well the repair works out (there was a small leak that caused water to refill periodically in the tank).  As long as I don't hear the tank refilling at odd times, this review will stand "as is." If I hear it refill, I'll adjust this review.
So far, overall I'm happy with the service received today.
