Job was a little more involved than planned, but everything was explained and any costs updated. No surprises. While clog was the main issue, it was discovered a flange needed replaced and poor subflooring around the toilet was discovered. The flange was replaced and toilet reset. Snaking of the pipe need a little reinforcement and the 2 other techs who came to help were also very nice. Roots were determined as the cause for the original issue. "I called James K Hafke for a second opinion for a sewer pipe that needed replacing. The other company was pushing to break up cement foundation to replace the pipe that was located under the building and had stated an estimate within a couple of days but didn't contact me till much later than promised. Michael (Hafke) came and photographed the pipe to see if replacing it was needed and then to determine all my options. The options and estimate were given right away and I engaged their services. Sal came a day or two later and started digging but first took care of clog to avoid another backup. He was very professional and kept me informed of their progress. The pipe was replaced the following day and a week later the inspector signed off on the project and Sal replaced the dirt over the pipe. The area was left extremely clean with the pavers lined up against the wall for them to be placed back over. I would hire James K Hafke again in a heartbeat and Sal was the best!!"

"Slaughter Plumbing responded quickly. I had to turn off the water and wait for them to arrive. I stated that I thought the leak was coming from the line for the ice maker in refrigerator. Jeff asked me if he could put a hole in the ceiling. After cutting the hole in ceiling, I was told that he could not find the leak and I should call "I Find Leaks". I called this company and they arrrived in the afternoon. He used an infra red camera to determine the leak was coming from the line for the ice maker in the refrigerator. He was able to shut the valve for this line at the water heater. If the plumber had thought of turning the valve off first, I would not have to repair my ceiling. Total cost of repair $770.00. I spoke to someone at the office to let them know I was not happy. I was told he would look into it. I never heard back from him."
