It is our mission to provide excellent workmanship and complete customer satisfaction from start to completion of a project. "This company does not value its customers. I chose NW Builders and Renovations because I liked the design ideas proposed by the sales person/project manager who came to my house for the initial consultation. I was adding a bathroom to the second floor of my house and he had great ideas about the tile selection and I believed saw my vision. After that point, everything about the experience was terrible. The project manager pressured me to sign an agreement on the spot that day. I did not and thought this was suspect but ultimately I still went with them a few days later because I agreed with his vision. I was told the project would start in a few weeks time, and I had made a point of saying that time was of the essence because I had planned to rent this home in a few months. The project did not start for nearly two months. During this time I repeatedly asked for a start date and was rebuffed. Then out of no where, they asked if they could start in two days time. This was problematic because this project would create considerable disruption and I had not yet made plans for other living arrangements. I ended up allowing them to start and just moving to my basement. I agreed to get the project going, they showed up and demoed the room that would become a bathroom, and then they did not show up again for nearly another two weeks. Even in doing the demolition work, they were wildly disrespectful of my house; failing to put up plastic to limit the disbursement of dust and dropping pieces of a demolished wall directly on to a carpet. When they did show up again, they asked for a considerable sum of money beyond the initial down payment. I refused as at this point it seemed like this company might actually just be a scam. I continued to deal with them because I had given them a large enough down payment that I wanted to get at least something in return. They hired out the plumbing to a qualified subcontractor and things looked like they were turning up. I had to fight with the subcontractor to install the plumbing in a way that was both compliant and made sense for the space available; originally, he wanted to do an installation that would save him several hundred dollars but would have resulted in the need to drop the entire ceiling of my kitchen by a foot, which made no sense, and which was not something that had been mentioned when I signed on for this project. Eventually they got the job done right. One of the biggest issues with this company is that they did not actually do any project management. They would not even provide oversight or grant access to the property for the sub contractors as needed. For this reason, I ended up spending nearly 2 1/2 months working from home which was problematic for my job. While I was working from home, on several occasion, I identified issues in terms of short cuts they were taking that would not have been discoverable after the walls were closed up; so it was only a result of my being home and providing oversight that I prevented future issues. The list of problems is honestly too long to list in the allotted space granted here. But the biggest concerns are the fact that they were extremely abrasive and disrespectful, wildly behind schedule, and failed to provide any oversight. When the project was complete, I was generally happy with the bathroom--it came out as we discussed initially, but only because I had to push the project along, catch mistakes as they were happening, and ensure that I was getting my monies worth. A few months out from the completion of the project, I have discovered that the bidet they installed was hardwired into a circuit for my bedroom outlets, contrary to code, and the bidet which is a wall anchored appliance is sagging because they did not add sufficient structural support. I am not going to even try to have them fix it as I would never work with this company again."

United Roofing Solutions, Inc., is a full service certified roofing contractor with over 15 years of experience in all areas of roofing services. We offer roofing repairs and, you can count on us for speedy reliable service when you need it most. No job is too big or too small. We offer affordable solutions for everyone.
"If your blood pressure is unnaturally low, and you are in absolutely no hurry for the work to be done, and you enjoy working with companies that ignore you for weeks on end-- by all means, call these guys! Very poor communication, and their scheduling promises are worthless. After months of delays, we had many tense phone calls (all made by us--they never called), pointedly asking when they would be here. They started trying to guilt us by saying they would have to reschedule other jobs (were these new jobs, or jobs for clients who had been waiting longer than the 4 months we did...?) and finally arrived to reroof our house. It took them a couple ( non-consecutive) days, but the roof looked a little unfinished, and they left power cables just draped around the guttering. Another call to ask if they were coming back-- dispatcher now openly snarky. Eventually, Don came back to see what we were talking about and ended up spending hours here (we could see him on the Ring) fixing what the crew had left. The roof looks fine now, but the neighbors who recommended them are horrified that their company was so difficult. Not the neighbors' fault-- it sounds like standards have definitely slipped at United Roofing Solutions."

Many roofing pros point to PVC as the top performer on flat roofs thanks to its tough seams and long-term waterproofing. A properly installed PVC membrane can last 30 years or more, resisting ponding water and harsh weather with ease. You will pay more up front than you would for EPDM, but the added durability often translates into fewer repairs and a lower cost per year of service.
Yes, a rubber roof is an environmentally friendly choice. Most rubber membranes contain recycled content and can reflect heat, which helps trim cooling bills in hot weather. Manufacturing has a lighter footprint than many traditional materials, and the long lifespan means fewer tear-offs headed to the landfill. If sustainability is a priority, ask your roofer about brands that carry third-party eco-certifications and confirm they meet local environmental standards.
