"Hank was a life-saver! We needed an estimate to do the job while negotiating the price of the house. Hank understood the urgency, was right there, and produced a very accurate estimate for a job of uncertain parameters. We closed on the house, and continued to live 1.5 hours away while Hank did the work on the house - he had to make many decisions himself, and all were the right ones. He did the job with as little damage to walls/ceilings as humanly possible due to forethought and expertise. We moved in, and the most frequent comment as we got settled was "How 'bout Hank? That is exactly where the outlet should be!" or "we didn't think of that, but Hank did!" A true professional, knowledgeable and thoughtful, respectful of old houses - we highly recommend Marsh River Electrical!"

"I hired Priola Electrical to install recesslights and paddle fan. He was very informative and kind enough to curate a plan that worked with my schedule to ensure I could have this done before summer. He is a very hard worker that has completed many other jobs for me over the years. Highly recommend."

FAQs for electrical switches, outlets & fixtures install or repair projects in Durham, ME

Wiring conversions for relocating outlets require upgrading the existing wiring to the correct amperage before installing the new outlet. This step ensures that the circuit safely supports the outlet's power demand. Engaging a professional guarantees that the alterations meet current electrical standards, thereby ensuring a safe and efficient installation overall.

Installing an outlet can be completed in 30 minutes, but professionals charge a minimum labor fee covering one to two hours of work. This fee accounts for travel, setup, and any extra tasks that may be required during the installation process. Bundling additional services with the installation can lead to overall cost savings while upholding stringent safety standards.
