They took care of dranige issues I did not even think of. Had a buddy go with a diffrent compney at the same time and his 10 yard patio is all cracked up. "Overall it was a good experience. Hired him to build a retaining wall and grade a large section of my backyard. I took a couple stars off for a few things; 1) He never came back to finish filling in the front of the driveway. I know it's not a good idea to pay before the job is completed, but it was such a small area I took the risk. Don't make the same mistake. 2) Lack of attention to detail and laziness. He had to move a few railroad ties out of the way in order to fill and grade the backyard. He set them to the side on an already level part of the yard. When it came time to put top soil down to finish the job, he decided to put top soil around the railroad ties rather than move them out of the way. I know they're heavy, but I moved them out of the way by myself in 20 minutes. He also decided to drive his excavator on top of the top soil after it was down and leveled. He left large tracks in it. 3) I had to do a bunch of extra work I was not expecting to do in order to finish the project. I had to buy and put down additional top soil in some spots and I had to level the top soil again. Not a ton of work, but I don't have the means to get top soil to my house, so several trips and more money when it should have been part of the original job."
