"I thought I'd provide a 6-month update on the work performed by Coen. In short, we selected them to do some minor renovations to the bedroom and living room - ceiling repair and electrical work - and then paint the entire interior of the unit. It was horrible. We settled a reduced fee and went our separate ways. Since then, we've had to remove the work they did and repaint the entire hallway, bathroom, and kitchen due to paint peeling. Based on the prior experience and having visited during the renovation, they didn't prep a single thing - the walls definitely needed that even prior to other work starting. The new contractors very clearly were able to show how the surfaces weren't prepared at all for paint related to dust under all of the layers from the drywall and other construction work they did. Not a single apology or visit from the owners to date. Don't waste your time, money, or effort on this company whatsoever."

"After many years of Indecision we recently concluded it was time to put in a new kitchen. From cabinets, floors, walls, ceilings, appliances and finally painting - the works!!! We chose Capizzi Home Improvement Company. We had heard they were excellent and had a great reputation for customer satisfaction. We had no idea of the scope of the job and all the work they would have to accomplish. Needless to say this was a very smart choice on our part. From the start there was our designer Diana then to the Caroenters, Jimmy and Dave, the Electricians Dave and Andrew, the Painters Joshua, Jesus and Freddie and the Plumbers Bill and Charlie - all contracted through Capizzi. All were fantastic at their trades. Very professional and knew what they were doing. All of the above coordinated through Gary who managed it all! I would recommend this crew from top to bottom. "Worst experience working with a contractor we have ever had. Lack of communication was astounding. Reached out to start the project on our tiny front lawn in June/July. Didn't start planting until mid October. Was told there were 5 jobs in front of ours. Ignored photos of exactly what we wanted. Finish product is passable at best. Would not recommend."

One of our projects was particularly complex: converting a cinder block and steel structure into a studio an auxiliary space. We had incomplete and impossible architectural plans, but he was able to find workarounds to these shortcomings. He was always available for questions and we enjoyed working with all of his subcontractors. He also did a remodel of our kitchen, including taking down a wall.
