"I don't write a lot of reviews. But when I do, it's usually because I'm blown away with how amazing a company is. There are a lot of landscapers in Utah County. There's a lot of work to be done. Taking on a yard that isn't a part of a new build or isn't hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of work is not appealing to most of these companies. They want to do the Parade of Homes yards. That's not my yard. We're a down to earth humble home that needed some professional TLC. They never over-quoted us in order to make it worth their while. They itemized their invoice and never misrepresent what the price is. They listened and gave excellent advice. If they wanted to meet our needs, they would find the best person to help us. They thought of things and anticipated needs that we didn't consider and are so grateful for now. They work hard and fast. They didn't put us off because we were "not as important" as another client. They made sure we were satisfied with their work and worked hard to create a yard that I didn't cringe at every time I looked at it. They responded to messages promptly and got things moving as quickly as possible. From the initial walk through and quote to finished product it was two months. We were floored and delighted they moved so quickly! We don't have family that lives near us. We're from out of state. But their care made us feel like family."

"Don't pay attention to the 1-star review that claims Standard Fence installed a different fence than was contracted for. That is just not true! Our house is on the other side of the fence in question, and the fence we received was exactly the one specified in the contract. The reviewer just doesn't like the fence we ordered and received. We highly recommend Standard Fence--its prices are competitive and the service was excellent and very prompt. When the neighbor was unhappy with the fence, Standard Fence went out of its way to make her happy, including adding a privacy screen at its own expense. It appears that's not possible to satisfy her other than by refunding her money or putting up a different fence of her choosing, both of which are unreasonable. Questioning the owner's integrity in a review is bad form."

"Stand Strong Fencing just finished installing about 200 feet of cedar fencing for me with two gates (including a double gate), and I couldn?t be happier! ? From start to finish, they were organized, professional, and so kind ? which really matters to me. They used metal Postmaster posts (LOVE ?), and everything feels sturdy and well-built. What I appreciated most was how they followed the grade of my yard with so much care ? I can be a little persnickety (guilty! ????), but they were incredibly patient and responsive. I met with the USSA team 3 times to review the details of the project. They were very willing to listen to my requests for changes to the type of wood that I wanted and the build process. "I will never hire Diamond Fence again - or recommend them to anyone. They did a very poor job - left big concrete posts protruding above the ground rather than having them covered in the ground. They cut up my grass in order to allow the gate to swing open - and never repaired it. The gate never has closed correctly because it is misaligned to the fence. They left concrete splatter on the fence and driveway. When we asked them to fix it, they took no responsibility. Their ads for satisfaction guaranteed are a lie - and I, like most people, would rather pay twice as much for a job well done than pay a so-called, "good price" for a poor job.
