They made cut-outs where necessary and installed the new windows, then insulated and caulked and did the trim work inside and out. It took most of the week. "The owner came and did the estimate for the work, and then sent a experienced worker and an inexperienced worker to complete the work. The pipe was mended adequately, but then the experienced worker left the inexperienced worker to finish the sheetrock work. 
The pipe was not properly adhered to the joist, so foot traffic above the pipe caused the pipe to bang around.  The sound dampening layer was not replaced, and I had to assist the one inexperienced worker that was left behind to handle the drywall."
