Customers say: Quick response

"I bought a run-down multi-family house and hired Renovations Gone Wild. They finished the work early and made the house ready to live in. They also found and fixed other problems, making the house safe and up-to-date. I really suggest using them for any renovation work."

"They did a spectacular job considering what they had to work with when they started. The roof is exceptional. I don't have any leaks and I don't have roof shingles blowing off in my yard or the neighbors' yard; it is wonderful. The thing that I was most impressed was that they cleaned up after they were done. These guys went out and made sure that the nails were up and everything. I was just very pleased. I have recommended them to a friend. The price included the tear off of the old roof. At some places there were three to four layers of roofing shingles thick and there was a layer of wood shakes. People had just gone over and over it. I was way beyond the village code, but I bought the house like that. It leaked and I tarred it until I got enough money to get the roof done. They also insulated over the porch for me. They did the garage roof as well. I absolutely had no complaints. I had a lot of people into my house to do work. This was the first group of people that I have had here that did what they promised and cleaned up their mess. I had no problems and no need to call them back. I got prices from several other people. They weren't the cheapest, but they were right down there. It was a fair price. They had it done when they said they would have it done."

"<p>They get AAA ratings. They have been here several times. The price was high. They had to come back several times to make repairs on the problems that the first people that put them in did. They got everything up to par A-Okay and did things beautifully. </p>"

"Matt has not only done excellent cosmetic work in the form of putting tiles on the floor in the master bath and rebuilding and restoring the deck on a rather large front porch, he has done work to make my home safer. Matt enlarged an unused closet and created a space on the main floor for a washer and dryer all hidden by beautiful louvre doors. In addition, Matt custom built new stairs leading to the basement replacing dangerous old stairs. The work is everything I hoped it would be and more. His work is of the highest quality. Matt is a steady, reliable and dedicated worker. He provides accurate estimates and works hard to make costs manageable. He has completed every project on time or even quicker than originally planned. Equally important, Matt is honest, respectful and totally reliable. I trust him alone in my house and he always clearly explains his ideas and plans so that I am educated as to what he needs to do. I will add that I have enthusiastically referred Matt to several of my friends and each one of them has expressed gratitude to me for sending Matt their way. This is a young man I can rely upon to help whenever I need it and this small community is fortunate to have someone with his skill level, his eagerness to tackle challenging projects, his positive attitude and, most of all, his integrity. I plan to call upon his skills again and I am very happy to recommend him to others."

"Working with Aurora Stone's owners was a breeze. I had looked at Angie's List last (no idea why!) when I was on the search for countertops to go with our new cabinets. I had estimates from at least 4 other companies in the local area. I was disatisfied with a few company's lack of customer skills and even though they had the product I wanted, I was not comfortable investing $3000-$4000 in a company that didn't deserve my business. This was one of the reasons I was elated to find Sandy and her crew! <br /> She was very flexible with the meeting time as we had to go with our 18 month old and on a Saturday. The meeting was great and we picked out our stone on the spot and got the quote we wanted. I'll mention another reason I chose Aurora Stone: I was extremely honored and appreciative that they offered a Military discount. This 10% got the price down to our budget and we were very surprised to see the number even close to where we needed it as it seemed like Aurora offered a more superior product (1st cut premium grade granite) plus stellar customer service.  <br /> We had the contract all set and deposit made a few weeks before the template as we installed the cabinets. The template was done 2 days after the cabinets were done (I was hoping for same day template because we called ahead but that didn't happen, which is understandable.) Template was easy and crew was respectful and very knowledgeable. <br /> Counter was installed earlier than scheduled (which was great!) the following Wednesday after the template (which was the Friday before.) Install took less than 2 hours and the crew was, again, polite, respectful, and did a terrific job. There's one seam towards the corner and it's hardly visible.  <br /> We would work with Aurora Stone again in the future for sure and have been so happy with our results and overall interactions with this company. The countertops themselves, are amazing and much better than the previous laminate. I look forward to using them and taking great care of the natural stone. Thanks again! <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Earlville, NY

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
