"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.  
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

"We ordered the pad, they sent us a kit to create the template used to make the pad. Was easy to use and sent it back. A few weeks later the pad came and fit perfectly. I couldn't be more satisfied."

"It is a waste of money. The great majority of people are not going to find any value out of the service. If you need design consultation, you need a full service consultation. If you already have knowledge and experience, and you just need to get a few ideas, then you don't need to pay for that. You can just get a magazine or a book since you already have the knowledge of basic designs in your head or a little bit of experience. To have someone call you and give you information over the phone, you are not getting the personal service that you need. You may as well take the money $49 and apply it to something else like getting someone else to come out and give you the service that you need. Because, you are not getting much, you are not getting anything at all. They are going to have you do the work. After talking to them and I was talking to other home designers, I found out that that was a waste of time and waste of money. I gave them a C because they didn't fail at what they do but they don't offer any value for what they do. There's not much value to it. The cost was fair. They didn't do a terrible job and the cost isn't terrible, it was only $49. It just has a very low value. For responsiveness I gave them a B because they will answer your phone and answer your emails."

"They did a good job. There were a couple of small problems, but they took care of them immediately once I pointed them out. They were very competitive in terms of pricing. They weren't the lowest I got, but I liked what they said they would do and the quality of the work. They in fact gave me a couple of references, and I went and looked at work which was unusual; a lot of places don't let me bother people. They cleaned up well after they were done, and they got it done on schedule. I was very happy with what they did. They were honest and reliable. They weren't perfect, but they were very good. I got 5 estimates on that job; they were well into the middle of the pack. I was very satisfied with the quality of the work. Even when I had a couple of minor problems, they came back and took care of it very quickly. There was a little bit of damage to some shrubbery, and they paid me to have new plants put in this year, which was nice. They gave me enough so that I can go and buy the plants, but there was no quibbling about it. Their punctuality was very good, and they were there when they said they would be there. The people were very good.  I have got another estimate from them for a siding job. I will probably get a couple of estimates from other people for that, but right now I would lean to them based on my experience with them. The odds are I am going to hire them again, but I at least want a couple of quotes so I know what a reasonable estimate is. I probably will use them again in the future, unless for some reason they come in much more expensive than the rest. Even if they come in at least near the middle of the pack, I will use them again, because I know the quality of work is very good."
