"They were extremely nice and professional. They had thought to run the new outlet from the wiring of our vent hood, the light switch of which needed replacement too, but couldn't because it had been installed in such a way - 25 years ago - that they could not get it out without damaging it, the cabinets or the wall.  We found an outlet on the wall in the room behind it, and they were able to use that instead.  So the price was ridiculous for getting one new outlet, but for the time they spent it was appropriate.  I would definitely use them again.  <br />"

"It went great. We purchased our home knowing the electrical was outdated. We hired ALR Construction to update our wiring for our whole home. They reran everything along with installing new gfci’s, and dimmer switches. They updated my electrical panel, and breakers. I also had them install a generator to power my whole home in case of a power outage since we live in a rural area. We also had them install and wire a whole home ring camera security system for a 360 degree view around our house. These guys are very professional and friendly. They did an amazing job. Through conversation I discovered Adam had built his house from the ground up and he showed me before and after pictures. I loved his work, and attention to detail. I ending up hiring them not only for upgrading our electrical which he specializes in but also to help remodel our kitchen. My wife and I couldn’t be happier. They replaced all our cabinetry, counter tops, installed a new sink/faucet, dishwasher(which we didn’t originally have), replaced our old counter top range, and wall mounted oven with a new stove. They installed led lights above our cabinets, and under. They also replaced the old linoleum flooring with wood look alike vinyl planks. These guys go above and beyond. Starting early, and staying late if needed. It wasn’t just a let’s throw it together and move on to the next job you’d get from a bigger company. The attention to detail, and care that went into his work is remarkable. I will definitely be referring him to anyone I know, and reaching out to them for my next projects."

"Scheduling through Mike was easy, and Roberto was very nice - he seemed competent. He said that the spring was broken (which I could believe from the research I had done), and that it would be an extra $350 to replace. I told him that seemed high, and we settled on $300, which I still thought was plenty. Working 6 days per week doesn't allow me a lot of time to take care of these things, so I decided to trust Sears to give me at least a somewhat fair price - I agreed rather than send him away. Afterwards I called the company which had originally installed the door, giving them the measurements and model number - they quoted me $150 to replace the spring with one just like the one I had (not a cheaper one, as Sears installed). Needless to say, I will never trust Sears again. The only way they can make this right with me is to refund $150."

"Herb did some things very well, and other things not so well. I was hard to apply an overall grade. Herb was very accommodating as we reviewed different siding brands and colors. I had very particular needs, and he met them. He accommodated all my special requests with regard to the application of the siding and coil, and here again I was very particular. I am not an easy customer. I had to work hard to get the quality I desired, but, in the end, I did get it. He even built out the windows so they stand proud of the siding. In all, the siding job is one of the best I have ever seen, really, with the exception of the third-floor dormers, where the quality fell off a bit. In the end, Herb and I have an unresolved dispute. He installed a power vent in the attic but he did not create adequate venting in the soffits to allow us to use the power vent. The directions to the power vent are very specific about the amount of venting required, and Herb did not create anywhere near the amount required. He has stopped communicating with me on this issue. He doesn't return my phone calls or email. I am having to hire another contractor to take care of this work. Probably, I will have to file with the courts or the Better Business Bureau to recover the cost from Herb."
