"At our request, Mr. Bergen preformed inspections of both chimneys on our 100+ year-old home. Inspection disclosed both were in need of demolition and rebuilding from below the roofline. We contracted the job to Mr. Bergen's company (Professional Chimney Services). The work as done in a most professional manner...Scaffolding was assembled and the chimneys were demolished and rebuilt from below the roofline to their previous height including new brick, mortar, liners and top caps. Mr. Bergen selected a brick which closely matched the original color preserving the appearance of the chimneys. Both chimneys were re-flashed and waterproofed and animal caps were installed. All construction equipment was removed and the area was thoroughly cleaned of all construction debris."

"Andy from Clifton Park Chimney performed an inspection of the fireplace chimney. He completed the inspection and identified there was no need to do a cleaning. He answered all questions and was a pleasure to deal with. He also performed an inspection of the outside chimney and provided tips on care and maintenance. As an added service, he inspected the dryer venting system, checking the air flow, to see if there were any problems (there were none). Andy was on time for the appointment, was very professional and provided good suggestions on maintenance. I would definitely recommend this company for anyone needing a chimney inspection. I cannot speak to actually cleaning the chimney as this work was not needed, but based on his thorough inspection I'm sure they would also do a thorough cleaning job if applicable. Definite recommendation for this company.

"By far the best business experience I have had in a long time. Where to start, Paul the salesman was great, he came out for a quote no hassle. Looked at the roof and quoted me quickly. I told him I had another company I was comparing to and would get back to him. No pressure tactics. Communication was consistent and clear. Booked appointment and was able to have an install date within a week! Now fast forward to the install day. Kevin is the man (I assume foreman) was at the job 45 mins before his team was supposed to get there to go over everything with me. He explained what he would be doing and if anything throughout the day changed he would not only text/call but text pictures of everything. A few pieces of plywood needed to be replaced and Boom pictures came to my phone of where and the old pieces to see the damaged ones. He kept his word all the way to the point that i had a tree company coming to quote me on taking trees down and i received text messages from Kevin that they were there in the back quoting my other job. Lastly i had an old dish on the house which i requested to come off. Not only did they take the dish off and remove the wire but the Vines that were climbing up the lines one of his guys was ripping those out and off for me. All in all i can't say how impressed i am with this team. They truly went above and beyond and when you spend a good amount of money on companies to work at your home it can make you nervous on what type of outcome it will be. I have no doubts about this company and recommend if you ever need anything roof related to please contact them for your job. "The technician was friendly, professional, and thorough. He found an issue related to the installation of the wood stove 5 years ago and was able to fix it to prevent any problems it could have caused down the road. I didn't shop around too much around pricing, so I can't say they had the best price for the job, but it seemed reasonable and the work was done well enough that I would happily refer anyone to Saratoga Chimney Sweep (now re-branded to Chimney Heroes)."

"It went well.  We decided to have him come by and put a new liner in as well as purchased a wood stove with installation and flooring.  He will be doing the install this week.  To be honest, we might have been able to find someone less expensive but we were impressed by his knowledge and his patience that we decided to stick with him.  Cheaper isn't always better!

"Tom and his crew  (zack and E Jay) arrived in time , had all the supplies. ready and started  the job.
Once they were up there realized that there was extra work to be done replacing all the wood at top since it was rotten under the existing chase top. They replaced ,took pictures of the whole process as a prove and put the new stainless steal chase top based on what I wanted , the respected my opinion and answered my questions.
The chimney sweep was good the guys inside the house were careful and didn't leave any traces after they finish, great clean up and gave me tips on the upkeep since is a different system that the average chimney.

"Work crew arrived on time. Two men were courteous and started the installation. The weather conditions were less than desirable. High winds and below zero wind chill. After the complete install they cleaned all areas including cellar and first floor. I would highly recommend matchless for any of your installs. From the sales person, to the pre inspection to the complete install. Five stars. "
