"The house we bought in 2016 did not have gutters and the front yard slopes toward the house so, in heavy rains, water would pool up against the house and come into the basement. We solved this problem by having the basement waterproofed (thanks to Real Dry Waterproofing) and having Mr. Gutter install gutters. "My experience with Real Dry was exceptional throughout the whole process. Last year, we were getting water in our basement whenever there was a heavy rain. Steve came and assessed the situation, and recommended digging wells around our basement windows and door and filling them with gravel for better drainage straight down (rather than toward the house/windows). We initially talked about also digging a well in the front of the house, where water would pool due to our lack of gutters and then come in through the foundation. So the initial estimate included all of that. Assuming such a system was necessary, Jon of Eastern was a great sales/service person, came in with a great price and of the solutions that I compared, had the best proposed solution, i.e. off the shelf pump, a method that would most likely to work etc. I compared to others and this is the best. Because we did this system, we could be assured of no water in flood and further to be able to finish the basement."
