He took his time, did a very good job, was neat and pointed out slight stains on the furniture that could not be removed (sofas were older and had been in storage for months). "This is part 2 of a previously submitted review. We were preparing our home for sale but were delayed by the Covid pandemic. We finally had Matt return in late spring to finish painting. I was concerned because we had refinished our hardwood floors, but Matt was beyond respectful to our home and he and Jair did a wonderful, clean and thorough job. People have commented on the quality of the paint job and it's because of the thorough preparation of the walls, banging nails back into the walls and using the best paint. Matt also spent valuable time on things that enhanced the look of our home and brought it up to date. For example, he replaced our two 1960's era thermostats with more up to date models with digital displays. The research required to find compatible thermostats was not easy, but Matt persisted and it created a new, more vibrant look to our home. This scenario was typical of everything that Matt and Jair did. I want to caution readers that Matt may not be the least expensive estimate that you will get, but the value that one gets is well worth it. The proof in our situation is that we put our house up for sale in September and had 4 offers within the first two weeks. One of the offers was above our asking price. Much of the credit must go to Matt who is truly a "Master Handyman.""

"We have a very old house and a small refinished basement, and so having work done can be a challenge. We are very happy with how our project with Concrete Makeover went. They were fastidious in terms of quality. During the last phase of the project--the epoxy coat--the epoxy didn't stick in some places along the base boards. They applied another coat and fixed the issue without hassle or extra charge. They also came in over the weekend so that it would be finished in time for visitors. We were incredibly appreciative of their response. <br /> Because this was our first experience with a concrete floor and with this company, we had questions along the way. "The work was done well. We love the newly installed floor and our bedroom. The stair treads were in pretty bad shape with a lot of deep gouges and unfortunately not all of them came out. I should have picked up on it prior to the stain going on but I missed it. They were pretty punctual and did a good job of cleaning up after themselves considering how much sanding was done. There should have been better communication on both ends as to our access to the upstairs after the first coat of polyurethane was applied as we needed to remain off the floors for 8-10 hours. Overall a job well done."
