"We had a fantastic experience with BKG Design (North Hills Location). Our kitchen designer, Noelle, came up with a great design given the small size of our kitchen that was right in line with our expectations. Throughout the entire process she was there to give design tips and help us create the modern look we were envisioning. Given the age of our previous kitchen we needed a fair amount of work done including demo, electrical, plumbing, and some floor work on top of the new cabinets and countertops. What I loved about Noelle and BKG was there was never any pressure or upselling along the way. All of our options were laid out to us from least expensive to most expensive and any part of the project that we wanted to do ourselves or hire an outside contractor for they were happy to accomodate. We ended up choosing BKG for the entire remodel and I am so happy that we did. Noelle did a fantastic job of project management as the entire remodel fell exactly to plan from both a time and cost perspective. Noelle would check in frequently to make sure we were aware of what was next to come, any upcoming decisions we had to make, and clarify items if there was any potential for confusion. In addition to project management, the install itself went very smoothly and that was thanks to the wonderful installers, Bill and Chris. Given that I work from home I was able to witness their work each day and I have nothing but praise for everything that they did. They showed up on time every single day and did not skip a beat from the moment they walked through the door. They were always quick to answer any questions I had and even go so far as to explain how things are done or provide advice as I like to learn a bit myself. Their knowledge of what they were doing was very apparent and impressive and it shows in the final product. If you want a kitchen remodel that is managed properly, stays true to cost estimates, and has a finished product that aligns with your expectations, look no further. "Once our granite slab was sent to them, they contacted us right away to come out and view the kitchen,
they came out and measured and about a week later they came out and installed.   They were very professional.  They don't use the laser templating, which is why their prices is cheaper.   Overall the fit of the granite was close to perfect.   There is one spot where the measurement wasn't exact but they were able to fill the area with something and it isn't noticable to the average person.  I know its there because i saw them do it but someone who doesn't know about it wouldn't notice it.
The seam work is great - they really pay attention to detail making sure the flow of the stone matches up.   Great Job!

"I researched various types of kitchen countertops for a while, and chose quartz instead of granite because the prices were comparable, the color pattern was more consistent with quartz (without picking out a particular slab of granite), and I did not have to consider future resealing as a possibility. I also considered several different vendors and received estimates. Then I entered my request online with Origins Granite, which was recommended by others on Angie's List, and immediately received a call from them. They sent a representative to my home that brought various samples. I decided to use them because the price they quoted me was all-inclusive and better than previous estimates, including all the plumbing work, new sink and edge cuts that cost extra with other vendors. The only thing that I had to purchase separately was the faucet; they used the model number to fabricate the holes needed in the countertop. About one week after signing the contract, they called to say my color choice had become unavailable. They presented three other choices but recommended one of the three as the closest to my original choice. I agreed and immediately realized from my previous research that it was from a more expensive manufacturer. They assured me that my original price quote would not change. They took care of everything: measurements were taken and installation was completed on the date I originally requested. I am very happy with the outcome; it is a great match for my kitchen. All of the people I dealt with at the office and in my home were very accommodating, courteous and professional. I would highly recommend this company to others.

"Arrived as scheduled. Asked exactly what we wanted done. Suggested that the grout between bottom tile and kitchen counter be replaced with caulk. He provided the caulk and repaired all cracked grout. Also applied caulk around tub.
