The Great: Tom Hedlund, whom I spoke to a few times in advance to our service, was very responsive and helpful. I also can't speak highly enough about the plumbers who came out and completed the service. The Could-Be-Better: Our first interaction with Hedlund was a different pair of their plumbers who came out to provide an estimate on work. We did this because we didn't want any surprises in terms of expense, or the extent of work. The plumbers who came out for the estimate were friendly, but apparently not good at details. Most of the information they provided was wrong, including the fact that 1) our drain lines didn't need re-routing (despite my questioning them on that); and 2) that our water heater is natural gas (in fact, it is LP, but they never asked and never noted it). The only reason we didn't have a couple of nasty surprises on the service day is because I questioned these two items beforehand, so was able to resolve the details over the phone, and they were able to change the water heater order before it was too late. In summary, the work we received from Hedlund was excellent, but the guys who provided an estimate need to work on their attention to detail."

"He arrived at agreed time. On arrival he surveyed the premesis and determined the sequence of steps to bring the a/con line and correct the deficiencies. After cleaning the a/c and replacing the filter he ran the system long enough to determine additional work will be required that I pospooned till fall due to financial circumstances."

I'm sure he could tell I knew very little about plumbing overall but dealt with me fairly and didn't talk down to me. He also told me how to prevent the problem from happening again (by wrapping the external line in heat tape and foam insulation pipe) and inspected the rest of the basement to assess the overall health of the sump pump system. Estimates are *not* provided before service unless you ask for one."

"Before replacing the tub, he had to build up the walls so he could attach the new tub and walls of tub. He and his co worker both worked very hard and steady. Nice to talk to. Informative. Quality work. Both men. I liked the fact that Chad was going to stick to his first quote with us, even though neither of us knew about the need to build up the existing walls before his quote. He not only tore out existing tub, he took all waste materials with him. He is a patient man and works without complaint. Twice I had to go and exchange wrong parts I had bought, and he just kept working on other things until I returned. A few days later I heard from him with a follow up call. He wanted to know if there were any problems. There weren't any. He offers integrity and quality work. I would and will recommend  All Around Plumbing LLC to anyone with a plumbing need.
