But the star of the project was James who took the plans and made them come to life. He arrived on time every morning, got right to work, and worked straight through the day. He took the time to double check with me as to placement of things like towel bars, grab bars, placement of mirrors, shower head placement, etc. to be sure that those things were installed to our specifications. And he cleaned up behind himself at the end of each day. It was obvious from the finished product that he took great pride in his work. Our bathroom is beautiful. Yes, there were a couple of minor (very minor) things that needed attention at the end (after all, this was a pretty involved project). AES made good on their motto and made sure that we were happy before they were done. Rich came to replace a defective faucet and Ron came to correct a paint mismatch. Even better is the fact that the final total of the project was right in line with the estimate! There were no hidden or unexpected cost overruns. "Everything from the bidding process, through completion, was handled with the utmost care and professionalism. Dimitri and every person who he brought into our home treated it as anyone would want their own to be treated. This was not a small project. They vaulted the ceiling in the living area, completely removing the roof on half the house, and did a full new roof. Matched the existing red oak hardwood flooring, and sanded/re-stained the entire upstairs. All the plumbing and electrical in the entire house was replace. New kitchen, 3.5 new bathrooms, finished basement, combined two bedrooms to make a master suite. New HVAC. New generator…. You name it, and it was done. When all was said and done, I think our two hall bedrooms were the one walls that weren’t torn down. We could not possibly recommend Dimitri and his company (his two sons work with him as well) any higher. They are honest, and hard working. Old school in all the best ways."

"We were doing a complete gut/remodel job on our kitchen and adding a bathroom where there was a covered back porch. My husband and I were interested in doing portions of the work ourselves, and the John Ruth company was more than willing to coordinate with us on this. We did the demo down to the studs, and they came in and took out the load bearing walls, adding support beams (with a structural engineers plan) and then proceeded to frame in the back porch. At every step of the way, when Will and Mike anticipated a problem that we would encounter when working on our part of it, they explained it to us, and were more than helpful and accommodating. In terms of plumbing, every old pipe in the house was replaced, they roughed in the bathroom according to our plans, and installed the shower pan. They also serviced our old heater and made some tweaks to the system, very knowledgeable about older homes and hot water/steam heat systems. We can't say enough good things about this company - everyone LOVES our kitchen and we loved having the guys here working. Totally trusted them to come and go with house open.
