"Heath and his crew carefully excavated around the area of the suspected blockage or break and found that the original drain line had not been properly connected when it was originally installed and had caused the four-inch plastic drain line to become clogged with mud and stop working. Heath connected the four-inch drain line as it should have been connected when it was originally installed. He connected the drain line from the house and the existing clean-out pipe to the existing drain line with a 45 degree elbow. <br /> Before I called Eand B Wooley, I had started to install a collection sump box where the four-inch line connects to the six-inch farmer's tile drain line. Heath connected the lower end of the green four-inch PVC drain line to the six-inch farmer's tile drain line and my collection sump box with another 45 degree elbow to complete the installation. He tested the connection and the water flow to make certain the line was draining properly before filling in the area he had excavated. After confirming that the drain lines were working, he carefully filled in the areas of excavation and leveled the ground to make certain damage to the surrounding grass was minimized. <br /> I was completely impressed by the professional work Heath and his crew accomplished to isolate, identify and correct the problem of the original installation. Heath's services were very cost-effective. "Proposal was not clear. I had to review the scope of the job several times with Craig. Unfortunately, after the first day, I was told there would be additional charges for work he had performed that day. We negotiated to A mutually agreed compromise. Due to illness, there were several starts and stops along the way. Finally finished a few days later than expected. I was left with a big cleanup job in the basement. They swept, but not thoroughly and didn't cover a thing as they had promised. I would use them again but would be very clear on what I expected as a result and pricing"

"We were having periodic problems with minor sewer gas type odors in our house and there was a lot of water in the systems distribution box, so we felt it was time to have the septic system checked. Contacted Bob's Septic Service (based on information gleaned from Angie's List) on a Friday afternoon and scheduled a service call for the following Tuesday. Randy, one of their service techs, arrived promptly at the agreed time with his big truck. We discussed the symptoms and issues we have had with our system and he determined that all that was needed was to pump out the septic tank. When the tank was opened, it was really full. He proceeded to pump the tank and a little extra water that backflowed trom the leach field. He took about 2500 gallons of stuff with him in the tank on the truck. The system is working great and all the issues we had are gone. Randy was very helpful and took his time to answer any questions and address any concerns about the system and what to do in the future. One big tip that we can pass on to others that have septic systems is to not wait many, many years to have your system checked and pumped. The time period between pumpings will vary based on the number of people in the household. We definitely recommend this company! <br />"

"I couldn't say enough high praises for this company. Our sewer line started to backup, and Underground Connections was the second company we called. When the first company came in, they did a rather superficial exploration. Our clean-out was in the crawl space, but they declined to go down there or try to figure out how the piping was laid down. As a result, they misdiagnosed the problem and gave us an estimate of approximately $1400. When their solution failed, they proposed a heavy-handed alternative, which involved ripping out concrete pavement just outside the house. The work would have cost us close to $9000 if not more. This was enough to lose confidence in that company which we have used several times in the past. This is when I called the Underground Connections. When their technicians came in, I explained the situation to one of them. He went down to the crawl space with me, listened carefully to what I had to say, thought about it, contemplated various possibilities, and proposed an approach that was most unpleasant (dirty/smelly) for him but most effective in solving the actual problem. The work was set to take place two days from this initial visit. To my surprise, they were able to come back the very next day (one day earlier than what we originally scheduled) and take care of the issue in well under two hours. The total cost was $400! Beyond the saving, we are extremely impressed by their work ethics and willingness to help us in the very stressful situation. I highly recommend this company."
