"From my initial contact with Will all went extremely well. After checking with the shingle manufacturer of my existing shingles, I found that I had faulty shingles and had to go through the process of filing a claim with the manufacturer. This put a major kink in planning for a new roof, but Will and the Excellent Roofing crew were not impatient and were very helpful. Finally, the time came for a new roof. I was provided with a detailed list of what would be done, except for what might need to be repaired under the existing roof. I was, however, given a detailed list of the cost of possible repairs to the decking. The crew arrived at the scheduled date and time and began its work. The machinery used was remarkable--NOT two men and a wheelbarrow! State of the art machines were used to collect the debris as it was removed from the roof. There was absolutely no mess, and my newly landscaped foundation plantings were not disturbed. Will provided us with estimates of several shingle types as well as additional guarantees and options we could select or reject. We decided to use a designer shingle that was was a couple of steps up from the basic roof and to include several upgrades for ice and leak protection as well as warranty extensiosn. (We have been plagued by leak problems for years.) The new roof was installed, and it is beautiful. We could not be happier with the result. The product and the workmanship are, as the name says, Excellent Roofing!"

"<p>Marvelous job!  Our 11-year-old house was long past due for new paint.  Lots of patching was required in all rooms; Chris and Arturo found and repaired areas we hadn't even noticed.  This was an arduous task - the ceilings in the living room and foyer are two stories high.  The painters arrived promptly every day, behaved professionally, and completed the work in about 4 days. Our house looks far better than it did when new.  I only have three wishes:</p> <p>1)  Wish we hadn't waited so long</p> <p>2)  Wish we had painted <em>after</em> fireplace and foyer tile work and new carpet.  The painters didn't spill a drop but the tile guy and carpet installers banged up our newly-painted baseboards.  We'll gladly hire Chris to touch up the damage.</p> <p>3)  Wish other types of home improvement services were included in his repertoire.  He'd have a full-time job at our house!</p> <p>Keep in mind that this is a small business and Chris is out on the job himself every day.  Leave him a message and be patient - he will get back to you - and he is well worth waiting for.<br /> <br /></p> <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in West Memphis, AR

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
