"I called Mike on Tuesday and he came out on Friday to diagnose the problem. He explained in detail why we had water in our basement and how he would fix it. They came the following week to fix it. They had to drill into the concrete inside our basement wall, lay a new pipe, and put new concrete over it. They also put new pipes outside our basement (connected to the downspout) to help the heavy downpour rains drain away from the house. They even pulled weeds at no extra cost- LOL. I definitely would hire Mike and his team again (hopefully we won't need to). They are top-notch and very clean."

I live out of town and contracted with them (Brian - owner) to have existing porch steps and underlying pavement demolished and replaced for a family member in the Northampton, PA area. "<p>Jesse, the owner, sent one of his business partners (John) to do a free inspection and estimate on our basement.  John was very nice and extremely knowledgeable.  After inspecting the basement he recommended a dual pressure relief system because of the large number of cracks that were appearing on the walls and on the basement floor.  Our water table here is higher than a lot of other places, and so our foundation was under a good amount of water pressure all around it. </p> <p>John sent me an estimate, which was deducted by 20% because of a deal that Comfort Basement was offering.  He further deducted another 10% because we were military.  The job was slated for just over 10,000 dollars but ended up being only 7,800.</p> <p>On the day of the project Brian was sent out with his team of 5-6 men (Brian was the team leader).  They explained everything that they were going to do and made sure that we were ready for it.  They put a plastic barrier up between the basement door and the garage door in order to prevent any dust or particles from getting into the kitchen and dining room.  The project took a total of two days.  Brian kept me informed as to how things were going the entire time.  He even confirmed where I wanted to sump pump drainage pipe to be placed and whether or not I was happy with where it was draining to.  </p> <p>Brian and his team made sure that my yard was undamaged by the concrete that they were removing.  They also vacuumed and cleaned everything before leaving.  They were all extremely professional and they did an excellent job.  After the project was complete, Brian showed me everything and explained everything to me.  He even left me with some Tyvec tape in case I needed to repair any cut or holes that develop in the vapor barrier.  In the end I was very pleased with the work and would gladly use Comfort Basement to help finish my basement in the future.</p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

"15 years ago, I had another basement waterproofing company, with a local office, work on another area of our residence. When I attempted to contact them to work on this area or tie it into the current setup, I found out that are no longer in business due to Covid 19 issues. The other branch offices would not accept the job since they operate independently and said it would be best to replace the whole system. Kiss that lifetime warranty goodbye. Did not want to replace the whole system. We contacted Basement Waterproofing Specialists thru Angie's list. Thier representative, Dean S., came out the next day, listened to us and not pressure us for a decision. The crew a couple days later, arrived on time (8AM), Worksite preparation & the job began immediately thereafter. The crew of 4 worked like a well oiled machine. They knew what and when actions needed to be completed and they did it efficiently. They cleaned up after they were finished & showed/tested us how the pump should work when the reservoir fills up. By 2:30 PM they were done."
