"I was having issues with my AC/Heater combo unit. I initially went with another company (not going to name names in this review) due to being able to get a sooner appointment. Their service tech said that the refrigerant was low by 2lbs and that I may have a leak in the system. I initially believed their recommendation. However, after getting the funds to set up the appointment I decided to call Kings Aire for a second opinion. I have known about Kings Aire due to there work on Fort Bliss. The 2 Service Techs Christian and another guy were very professional and weren't out to BS me. After doing their checks they found nothing wrong with my unit except that the refrigerant was a little bit low but nothing that should affect the operation of the system. That diagnosis saved me quite a bit of money. I have elected to stay with Kings Aire for any HVAC work. I did purchase their annual service agreement which the price is reasonable at $150 for the year. This comes with 2 service checks, one for the Fall and one for the Spring. I wish I would have waited for an appointment with Kings Aire instead of paying another company $95 for them to tell me something that I did not need. I am now a Kings Aire customer for life."

"They came promptly. Gave me an honest estimate with warranty. They fix it in proper time. I contracted several professional roofers but failed to find the leak. They came and properly assessed the problem and fix it."

"They did an amazing job. Showed up, did it and went above and beyond. I am a big fan and wouldn't bother to call another after this experience. They just plain rocked it! My attic had some insulation but not anywhere near enough. I was able to feel an amazing difference the first night. I would be willing to bet I recoup the full cost within one winter!"

FAQs for spray foam insulation projects in El Paso, TX

Local and federal rebates are available for insulation installation, which can significantly reduce your overall costs. Many utility companies offer incentives or rebates to homeowners who improve their home's energy efficiency. Contact your local energy provider or government agencies to learn about available programs in your area, and consult with a professional insulation installer to maximize your savings.

It's not necessary to remove old insulation before adding new insulation, as long as the existing insulation is in good condition—dry, free of mold, and not damaged. Adding new insulation on top of old insulation can improve your home's energy efficiency by increasing the overall R-value. However, if the old insulation is wet, moldy, or damaged, it's best to remove it before installing new insulation to prevent potential health risks and ensure optimal performance.

Insulating a house takes between five and twelve hours for batts or boards, and two to five hours for spray foam or blown-in insulation. The exact time depends on the size of your home, the type of insulation, and the accessibility of the areas being insulated. Keep in mind that projects may take longer if old insulation needs removal, if there's a larger square footage, or if spaces are difficult to reach.
