"I originally asked for a bid on taking out old fence and replacing with a new vinyl fence. The quote I got was for just the new fence. In later discussion after I had told them to go ahead I realized that they were not including the removal of the old fence. So they added an amount to cover that which was still less than other bids in total. <br /> They did great work on time as scheduled. Mark was very professional and followed up as promised. The fence looks great and seems very solid. <br /> The reason we decided to get the vinyl fence over a new block one was that a nearby tree root had grown upward and had broken up the block wall. We wanted the vinyl because it could be built with a gap at the bottom that would allow for that upward root movement. The problem is going to be that what was designed to be a three inch gap ends up being only a one inch gap where the root is. Which means we are still going to have to deal with that tree eventually. Would have been good to know that measurement before the job started. <br />"

"The first salesman we had was flaky, but he left Allied Iron. Everyone else has been very knowledgable and professional. I like the fact that you can design the door or gate the way you want, not simply select from a fixed list of models. We were able to see how everything, including the door handle is custom built. I like the fact that we were able to see our door and gate before powder coating. We requested a minor change, which they handled no problem. Installation was quick. The product is not cheap, but considering it is a custom product with high quality, it is worth it."

"Karl is very professional and precise. I hired him because he was honest in his quote. The big company quoted me less and then backed out on their quote and said they mis-measured when I wanted to hire them for their low price. At that point their quote was the same as Karl's and I was happier with the smaller guy anyway, bc I knew the guy doing the quote would also do the work and I had a good feeling about Karl. Once he scheduled the work he showed up exactly when he said he would both times. The first install he advised me on the color and explained his reasoning, but I didn't listen (and he was very polite, saying I should pick the color I wanted). On the second fence I listened and it was prettier than the first. Both the installs were very correctly done and look great, just the color on the first one isn't as good, but it's exactly what I ordered. One thing I really liked was that Karl re-worked some fence he had already gotten in when I expressed concern about dogs digging under it. I hadn't told him anything about dogs, so this was my fault, but he still put it in lower to the ground when I asked him to without any complaining. He also cleaned up his mess before he left. If I ever have more ironwork to do, I will be calling Karl again. <br />"

"I ordered a garage door in May of 2015 submitting half down. Steve, the manager, was both knowledgeable and pleasant, important attributes when making an expensive purchase. He noted that both the garage and the room above it would be much warmer with an R19 door. I had hoped to order a Liftmaster belt system opener, but the manager noted he had difficulty in securing those from his supplier and recommended a Linear. However, Consumer Reports and my husband, a mechanic, both recommended a Liftmaster system because it is quieter and can be connected to your smart phone. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Paul installed the beautiful, new garage door, but there were gaps on both sides of the door where bugs or wind could enter. Paul attempted, but was not successful in installing the new opener because the rail was too long. I was worried about the old Genie system being able to lift the new door, but Paul thought it would be okay. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />I called Steve and he very cordially drove over the next day to fill the gaps. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Steve was correct. The garage is much warmer as is the room above it. My purchase was a wise investment that added curb appeal. The window design adds much needed light in the garage when working on projects. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Unfortunately, the old Genie system broke in December. "We completely gutted and renovated our entire house, using several different companies. We were content with the final product, but wanted to add a large fan to the main living room several months after the house was completed. We hired Rounds Construction for the job and of everyone we worked with, they were one of the most professional companies. They arrived at our house exactly when they said they would come. Moved all of our furniture out of the way very carefully. They never complained about crawling 50 feet through our tight attic space to the other side of the house to install the electrical in a very difficult spot. The fan installation is flawless and the price was very reasonable. They left the place cleaner than when they arrived by doing touch up paint on the ceiling and by the light switches, vacuumed, and patiently moved our furniture several times to exactly where we wanted it. I would definitely hire Rounds Construction again and again!"

"Everything went perfectly. AC was my contact and he was very helpful and responsive. He explained all of my options and answered all my questions. He also helped me find a new roofer when my guy didn't respond. Work was done correctly and on time. They were also very careful with the new roof and cleaned up well. Did an excellent job of blending the new stucco with the existing. I would definitely recommend them. Thank you for a job well done!"

"Roger came out to provide an estimate and took a lot of measurements.  He told me he'd be able to get the estimate by the weekend, but actually had it in my email that same day.  I approved and we agreed on the next week and it would take about 3-4 days because we needed to perform grading and two pours.  After the first pour I paid around 30-40% of the total estimate, after the second pour paid another 40-50%, and then after the column rebuild and gate hang paid the balance.  We did have a problem with the column rebuild as the gate was too heavy to be hung on a freshly rebuilt column and the column ended up drying out of plumb.  After calling Roger, he immediately had his team out to fix it and they spent the whole day correcting the issue and did an awesome job!  RT Concrete crews are friendly and stop to talk with you if you happen to come out and see how the job is going - they don't ignore you or try to avoid you.  Very professional.  I will use them again in the future for all my concrete needs.  Thanks Roger and team! <br />"
