"My most important considerations were access to high quality product and the vendor's ability to support a non-negotiable installation schedule (national movers were slated to arrive on 9/6 with furniture for that room). A Plus easily accommodated these (even though the carpet wasn't originally on-site). It was great that this was a 'local' vendor (based in Columbia). My sales rep, Gene, knowledgeably advised on quality and helpfully sent me home with a returnable sample that I could study on the floor. (This was particularly important as my prior color was no longer available.) Gene arrived within two days to measure the space and place the order. (I saved 1 percent by paying in-full on the day I signed the contract). The installation crew arrived 90 minutes earlier than expected (though, to be fair, I missed the call during which they tried to notify me). Removal of the old carpet and installation of the replacement required about three hours. While installers had to move two large pieces of furniture, for the most part, the bedroom and closet were empty. Never having done this before, I was surprised how noisy the process was. These folks did a good job. I intend to hire again with a similar installation for two other bedrooms, a staircase and hallway after these have been professionally painted."

"Used Angie's List coupon. Worth the drive to Laurel from Owings Mills. Owner himself came out to measure and give estimate. Please keep in mind that if you have, say, a 1000 square foot space to cover and there a number of rooms and closets and hallways and zigs and zags that add up to 1,000 square feet and the price is $1.00 per square foot, your cost will not be $1,000. Carpet is sold and installed by the roll, which maybe 12 or 15 feet wide. If there are a lot of corners and things to cut out and around then you will pay for that waste. I ended up with several seams (which are invisible) because the owner when measuring and determining the estimate used a more economical method in terms of material required, but it meant a little more work for the installers and saved me money. The installers themselves were punctual and efficient. Installing carpet is hard work. As mentioned there were a couple more seams with my installation but they were handled well and wouldn't be noticed even if they were pointed out. The carpet was a low level Mohawk product, but so far I have less than no complaints. It looks great and definitely will add value to my condo. I would not hesitate to use PriceCo for any future flooring needs."

"I called the Vertical Connection (TVC) on a Sunday. The salesperson (Steve B). didn't have an answer and said he would call me back when he did know the answer. 2 hours later, he called back!! - on Sunday!! TVC salesperson was very straight forward and I didn't feel pressured. They were easy to work with. TVC prices were slightly more competitive than two similar businesses for the same product and came within our budget (but at the upper end!!).  <br> <br>TVC carpet installation mechanics did an excellent job. They showed up on time, were polite, got right to work, and answered all of my questions about their work (I am curious - like to know how things are done). They removed the old padding (which they were supposed to do) but before they installed the new padding, they fixed a squeaky floor location, and the swept the bare plywood floor. The seams on the final install are hard to see. They vacuumed the installed rug and cleaned up and it all looked great when they left. To me, it was clear these mechanics (Ron and Tom) took pride in their work.     "
