We picked a tile from Floor and Decor and set out to find a contractor. The first contractor, highly recommended on Angi, came in and proposed an installation that would have cost over $6,000. That struck us as much too high. We then approached JW, which had done work for us in the past, and got an estimate that struck us as reasonable. But to get their top tile installer, Cesar Miranda, we had to wait nearly two months. We decided to wait and are glad we did. When he arrived, he brought three different grout and gave us our choice. He then did an outstanding installation."

"After getting several quotes, we decided to work Dan and American Kitchen Concepts. We appreciated his level of knowledge and how the quote was based on the specific materials we ended up using and not a generic guess. The quote was pretty true to what we finally paid too, after we had to deal with some mold and other unforeseen issues, including some structural issues with the house which we wouldn’t have know about until they were big issues. His crew was very nice and cleaned up after themselves every day. We really appreciated that because we have two small children. They worked pretty quickly and things were timed well between demo, installation, paint, and flooring so that there weren’t too many days where nothing was being done. Once the majority was done, Dan came back a couple of times to inspect everything, fix some minor things, and ensure that we were happy with everything. The end results were beautiful. We have been very happy with our new kitchen that is both more attractive and more functional. We would recommend Dan and American Kitchen Concepts to people looking for a kitchen upgrade."

"The price was fair for the job done which is important however the overall job was mediocre at best. My kitchen is challenging with an 18' cathedral ceiling. I anticipated the highest parts of where the wall meets the ceiling the paint lines might not be perfectly straight. Even managing my expectations... not a single paint line is straight, they are all wavy, at the baseboard, around the door, where the ceiling height is only 8' - not a straight paint line to be found in my kitchen. Jose was very nice, cleaned up when the job was done and seemed to work hard. For those reasons I would have liked to give a better rating but when I look at the details, the job is just barely adequate."

"They were terribly professional. There was a small hole near a gutter. I don't blame them for missing the hole, because our job was big. They did fix the hole, but it took them a fair amount of time and several calls, before they returned to fix it?They performed repairs and inserted the insulation at no extra cost. ?I would highly recommend them again."

"We recently chose Black & White Kitchen and Bath to do a full renovation in our townhouse. We worked closely with Mr Zelaya. We were instantly impressed with Zelaya's patience as we asked a lot of questions and needed a lot of guidance, as this was our first time going through a renovation project. We found Zelaya to be knowledgeable, prompt to reply, and helpful in some of the decision making processes. We were highly impressed with the professionalism, and work ethic of the crew who were on our project. They arrived promptly each morning, and worked through till the evening. Most of the time they were there 8:30am-5pm or later. The workers were professional, ensuring to protect our floors, furniture, and have plastic up for dust protection and always cleaned up the job site each evening prior to leaving. For our work, we needed them to complete demolition of our current kitchen, remove a wall, install all new cabinets/hardware and backsplash, and we had them expand a hall closet to accompany our washer/dyer which was in our kitchen. All of this work was completed in about 3 weeks. We would highly recommend Black & White Kitchen and Bath for a kitchen and bathroom renovations to others. We are, and anyone who sees our kitchen, is so impressed with the quality of the finished product and the timeline for completion. It has been over 3 months and all their work is in great shape. I highly recommend Black & White Kitchen and Bath If I could give 10 stars I would. I am very thankful I ran across this amazing company. My remodel turned out stunning and I love the design that we worked together to come up with. They offer great design ideas that really help to bring the whole project together.
