"The contractor clearly defined the stages of the remodel and what would be done at each stage so we would understand what was going on. He also made payments to him contingent on completing certain stages of the project. He was very knowledgeable of what needed to be done for the remodel and what he might encounter once walls were taken down. He was able to adapt to unexpected things hidden by the walls (duct-work, electrical wiring, un-even floor, etc.) He was very thorough in his work and made sure to protect the rest of the house from the inevitable dust and debris that comes with a project like this. "This was our second time using Diaz for our painting and home renovations. Once again he and his team did an amazing job. For this job, we had Diaz paint our hallway and master, redo our stairs and stair railing, re-finish and stain the hardwood floors, remove old baseboard heaters, and do a complete renovation of our upstairs bathroom (new paint, new floors, new vanity, new toilet, new lighting, new exhaust fan, etc.). He also helped haul out old furniture, removed an old (non-functional) oil gas tank from the basement, and replaced a broken storm door.
