"Bobby and David provided great customer service, high quality work and excellent pricing. For my new kitchen, I had an interior wall removed (they brought in a structural pro to check for safety) , moved plumbing and added electrical. The entire kitchen was gutted and redone. They helped me with all my flooring and cabinet selections- they really know what works best! All my phone calls to them were returned very quickly. I highly recommend them and plan to call them back for more work!"

"I hired Long Island handyman construction group to remodel a 400sf basement and bathroom in Melville. They were priced in the middle compared to other bids. I picked them thanks to their out of the box advice which saved me thousands of dollars. There was one problem with the plumbing which cost an extra 1800 dollars. The owner settled with me 50/50 even though it was a pre-existing issue. The project was started early and completed early. All mess was cleaned up and the crew was very friendly and fully aware. Very reputable guys and very easy to deal with. Thanks Moises and Eddy."

"Everything went well. Yamin was very responsive. He always texted when they were on their way. The workers worked well and cleaned up after they were done everyday. They power washed the concrete, exterior of the house and deck. The exterior aluminum siding of the house was then painted and deck stained. We also had our railings scraped and repainted. In addition, they fixed some loose pointing on the chimney and a little masonary work on the front of the house. Yamin was very polite and professional, always willing to work with you. His prices also seemed to be fair."

"I had the unfortunate experience of receiving a notice of sidewalk violation from the NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) on 10/16/19 for having 116 feet of damaged concrete sidewalk that included broken slabs, trip hazards, improper slope and patchwork, in front of my house. I was rather upset by the high cost of most estimates I received. In frustration I contacted Home Advisor.Com for the first time. As a result I received a phone call from Tarsem Singh (Sunny) the owner of Novelty Construction Company who asked for a copy of the DOT PIR (Preliminary notice of inspection, which is the DOT description of damage). Sunny immediately phoned me back with a price, significantly lower than my other estimates and emailed a succinct contract Indicating he would remove and replace the damaged concrete with 4 inches of 4000PSI concrete, obtain the DOT permit with a guarantee that he would fix at no additional cost if the if the DOT did not approve of his work. I did not know this gentleman and had no personal recommendations about his work. Nevertheless, I chose him , not just he had the lowest price, but due to his calm, confident, trustworthy manner. It also helped that Home Advisor checked he was licensed and insured., and that there were many excellent reviews of his work on Home Advisor.com. After Sunny ,his brother and one other gentleman removed the damaged concrete, and placed reinforcement concrete wire over the walkway a commercial cement truck arrived to deliver the concrete, which Sunny paid for our of his own pocket. Sunny did not ask for payment until the job was completed. My wife and I are very pleased by his excellent workmanship. Sunny advised me to immediately call 311 to dismiss the violation from the DOT. Finally, after 46 days DOT came by to inspect the work. 12 days later I received a sidewalk dismissal inspection notice indicating that Sunny's work passed inspection. and that the violation will be removed from the Queens County Clerks records. I would highly recommend Sunny if you need any concrete work done on your property. Note, the long delays for the violation dismissal had nothing to do with Novelty Construction but were due to DOT being very back up with their work."

They gave us the most honest quote, with full transparency as to what the materials costs - including receipts - and then were the kindest and most detailed oriented when it came to the work in our home. Client comes first for these guys. I had thought because it was a smaller job, they might not take it so seriously but these guys exceeded our expectation. 5 stars"
