"LG refrigerator was no longer cooling. I went through LG customer service who opened a ticket with Nebraska Home Appliance. They were very courteous and professional from appointment scheduling, notification prior to the repair as well as the repair work itself. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for other appliance repairs."

"I had contacted Samsung for warranty service on my clothes dryer.  The machine was just over a year old and had stopped blowing hot air - only cool air.  Thus it wouldn't dry clothes well at all. <br /> Samsung, when they eventually got back to me, sent a dispatch request to Andy's Appliance Repair.  They said I should get a call from Andy's within a day or two, but they gave me the phone number in case I didn't hear from Andy's, so I could call them. <br /> About an hour later (early afternoon) I had a call from Andy's,  The scheduler was very courteous and professional.  He arranged to have someone at my home the very next morning between 8 and 10.  The technician called me the next day at around 9:30 to let me know he was on his way.  He showed up on time and went right to work. <br /> Now the dryer is in a challenging position - stacked on a washer in a narrow, shallow closet.  The closet ceiling is high enough, but the door to the closet only clears the top of the dryer by a couple of inches.  I'm always daunted to have to mess with pulling it out or getting behind it, but the technician - Wayne - didn't really complain.  He'd brought some skid pads to insert under the feet of the washer so he could slide the whole stacked pair out without jacking up my vinyl floor any worse than it already was. <br /> He just got to work, pulled it out far enough while taking care of my property, disassembled nearly the entire dryer, and discovered that the heating element was shot.  He couldn't say for sure whether it had just gone bad or if it might have fried because of a clogged exhaust vent.  My vent is on the roof and it was snowing fiercely at the time, so I wasn't about to climb up there and check it.  Wayne said they don't climb on roofs, and I can understand that (nor did I ask him to).  But since there was some doubt as to the core cause of the issue, Wayne replaced the heating element with a new one that has a higher thermostat limit, under warranty.  He had the whole unit back together within about 10 minutes, good as new.  And now it works nicely once again. <br /> Overall, Wayne was courteous and very professional.  He did a great job of sizing up the situation, making the decision that best met my needs, and taking care of everything without any hesitation.  He took his shoes off on the way in, and showed good attention to detail.  He's a credit to Andy's, and I'll be calling them in the future for all appliance work. <br /> I'm extremely impressed by the entire experience.  This is *exactly* the way a service company should do business, and there are of plenty others that could take a lesson from Andy's. <br /> I can't comment on price because the work was done under warranty, but it's hard to argue with results.  I'd be willing to pay extra for prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, effective service like this. <br />"

"<p>After living with a pink bathtub and pink sink for several years – I decided to update my bathroom.  I started by creating a list of updates that I wanted to make which included replacing the pink fixtures, change out the wall/shower surround tiles, installing a heated tile floor, replacing the window and adding an exhaust fan.  I secured a few bids and Service Calls was the least expensive. </p> <p>After I gave Service Call the go ahead, they took care of coordinating all the work.  I appreciate how Dan worked with me to present options such as replacing or resurfacing the existing tub.  Dan presented the pro’s and con’s for each choice and helped me decide how I wanted to proceed (I ultimately decided to resurface the tub). Dan even suggested a few ways I could save some money (such as doing the painting myself). </p> <p>I appreciated that the worked took the time to cover my wood floors during demo and took care to protect my property.  I did have quite a bit of construction dust when they were doing drywall work, but I think that is the nature of the beast. </p> <p>Dan communicated with me on a regular basis to keep in informed of the progress. Dan also promptly answered any questions I had along the way – either my phone, text or email.  </p> <p>One thing that surprised me was the Service Call did not require me to put down a deposit for them to get started.  I did not have to pay for the project until it was complete. </p> <p>After living with the new bathroom for a month, I had a few small items that needed to be addressed (the shower head had a little leak and about an inch of grout was missing on some of the wall surround tiles.  I called Service Call and the followed up promptly to resolve the few issues.  </p> <p>My project took about a month to complete.  Dan worked with me on the timeline.  I know if I didn’t have a second bath he would be have able to coordinate the project so I wouldn’t be without a bath. </p> <p>My overall Service Call bill was right at $9,000. I spent about $1000 on tile, $750 on plumbing fixtures/faucets, $150 on electrical fixtures (new wall light and exhaust fan) and $100 on paint. All in my project was just about $11,000.</p>"

"Different people have come from Service Guard to fix my washer, which is out of balance, and my dryer.  When the serviceman worked on my dryer, he put the wires back improperly, so the dryer didn't run properly and I had to have another serviceman come out and fix that, then it it worked fine.  None of the servicemen have been able to fix my washing machine.  I have a service contract which is paid monthly with my gas bill, so I don't have a cost for when they make a service call. <br />"
