"In July of 2020 Affordable Concrete Raising lifted up a 5ft x 10ft section of our patio concrete, which was slanted toward our house. We are delighted with their work! Ron was very professional and informative when he came to look at our patio and give us an estimate. The work crew arrived on time, were very careful to make sure that the rising concrete cleared the edge of our concrete stoop, and cleaned up afterwards. They even succeeded in freeing up the post of a metal railing so the concrete could rise around it and we wouldn't need to replace the railing. Their price was very competitive ($700) and our experience was positive from start to finish."

"We had a blockage in our main sewer pipe under the basement floor. It turns out we had an old flood control gate that had collapsed. It was about 80% closed, so water was not able to get out of the house appropriately. I called several companies and not only was Robert's price reasonable, he was the most knowledgable and willing to talk through the issue and the solution. Robert, Phillip, and his crew were able to break up the concrete floor and replace the pipe despite the fact that it was encased in several feet of concrete and was located right near our fireplace. It was a bigger job than we anticipated due to the original pipe being encased in much more concrete than is typically used, but they were able to take care of everything without destroying the walls or fireplace. The new pipe was put in, and the hole was patched with cement. I can't say enough good things about the planning and work that Robert and his crew did. They were skilled and professional and a pleasure to do business with. Despite the large hole in the floor, the clean up was impressive. Half way through the process when we saw just how big and difficult the job was, I felt confident that we chose the right company. ".I researched many different options to encapsulate my dirt floor basement crawlspace from taped liners to cement, and I am so glad that I decided to go with the polyurea seamless liner that this company specializes in installing.  Josh, a company representative, came out, looked over the crawlspace,, took measurements and pictures,and the next day I received two quotes from Chuck Modica - one for the crawlspace encapsulation only and one for the encapsulation with the drain tile system and sump pump.  Chuck even made a special trip to my house to inspect the crawlspace to see if he thought a drain tile system was necessary.  Throughout the process there was no hard sell,  He  gave me the facts and answered all my questions in a confident,professional manner.  I was especially impressed when Chuck showed up with the crew to help with the job.  They removed tree roots that had grown under the foundation into the crawlspace, broke up and removed a huge bolder that had been there for some unknown reason probably for a hundred years, and even leveled the crawlspaces under my front porch which were not part of the bided project.  When I returned from a weekend trip and looked at the finished project, I couldn't be happier with the completed job.  My tenet who lives below me and does her laundry in the cemented front portion of the basement separate from the crawlspace noticed a difference in the air quality right away.  Chuck also e-mailed about a long ago disconnected pipe  that was slow leaking from an outside valve.,  He arranged the pipe so it drained into the tile system and offered to have one of his crew members who has a key to the outside drainage system come out to shut off the valve causing the leak  The company and employes go the extra mile to make sure you are a satisfied customer and I am one.

"We were in the inspection process of buying a house, and Greg agreed to do an estimate, even though we knew the crawlspace might have been a deal breaker for us since it was in pretty bad shape.  The home inspector suggested a vapor barrier.  I searched Angie's list and found Greg and his crew.  
Another local company I called would not come out to do an estimate since it was only a home inspection, and we weren't 100% sure we were going to buy the house, let alone complete the work after the purchase.
Upon talking with Greg the first time, I had a feeling that he was going to do a good job and be easy to work with.  He was very straight forward and truthful.
The crawlspace was a dirt floor, and probably hadn't been touched in over 20 years.  It was dank, wet, full of bugs as evidenced by the webs and old traps.  It was also had the beginnings of some rather serious issues from the neglect.  The bones were good, but it was definitely time to dry it out and start over.  Originally, I was looking to get the sealed with concrete and Greg suggested a new material, a spray on material, to use instead.  He assured me it would be strong enough to be used for storage items.  It would also save us 4 inches of clearance over the concrete, which makes a difference in a crawl space.  I decided to go with it, even though it was a brand new method at the time for Greg and his team.
 We decided to move forward and buy the house and we also decided to hire Greg and team to help transform the space in to a working storage area.
I could not be more happy with the result.  Greg's team showed up and immediately got to work.  Even though the house was not being lived in at the time and other contractors were there, the entrance and work areas were covered in plastic which is good thing as the guys coming out of the crawl were covered in mud.  I was surprised out how swiftly the crew got to work.  They got the job done quickly, and were extremely professional throughout the entire process.
After a fantastically wet spring, it turns out that a foundation crack was causing some very minor seepage from the outside after all of the work was complete.  Other houses in the area had their entire basements and crawls completely flooded.  Greg came back and sealed a very small crack free of charge to finish up the job.
I wish I had more crawlspaces to give Greg and his team more work.  I will definitely use them again should the need arise."
