"We had a wonderful experience with Everlight Solar. Nick did a great job of going through and explaining everything and how it would all work. The crew does a fantastic job and they do it quickly. They even suggested a placement change of the panels on the spot to maximize my production. One thing I wish is that I had added a couple more panels to the system beyond what they recommended- just to get that extra going back into the grid. I have seen the cost savings in just one month on my utility bill. More sun would be better but I did record 74% less consumption for Sept. than the previous year! The days are getting shorter, so have to take that into account, I look forward to next year and seeing just how much more it can produce. "Replacing the staircase light fixture was a difficult job requiring the use of a ladder, a step ladder and an aluminum plank to create a level workspace in order to access the light. The new pendant was lowered by 6 inches, compared to the old one, to allow easy exchange of light bulbs. The electrician was creative in solving some installation problems.  He also saved me some money by advising me that some other electrical work I was considering might not be necessary."

I was really hesitant after the estimate but he just kept pushing about it and I didn't have any other options - but I was sorry afterwards. "Paul Landmann responded promptly to my request for a proposal, having been highly recommended by another service provider. The project was carried out on schedule, and the results are excellent. Replacement of back porch decking was in addition to the original proposal and was accomplished on a time and materials basis. Paul and Kelly were courteous and friendly, made appropriate suggestions, were very accommodating when asked to make small changes, worked steadily and were very attentive to detail. While I could probably have found someone to do this project for less money, I believe in the old adage, ''You get what you pay for,'' and the impressive results confirm this. I saved $600 by doing some demolition work myself, and Paul included some materials at no charge. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this small company without reservation and would definitely hire them again."

"The salesperson was clear (mostly) and the work was done on time and well -- finished in one day and cleaned up very well. My one caveat is that the salesperson clearly stated that the work would be done by a local contractor, which was, I guess, technically true, since it looks like a local contractor subcontracted to a group of men (Polish or Russian) who drove up from Chicago and did the work. I was led to believe it would be done by local workers so that was a bit off-putting"

"Company was great, owner went over everything, was attentive and answered all questions. He came up with great solutions to work in a quirky area on a older house. Crew was hard-working and cleaned up great after completing the project. Purchased services through a deal on Angie's list and the owner worked with me to make the most of the pre-purchased amount of time."

"Overall it went smoothly. All of the workers were very considerate with the front door, and trying not to let the cat get outside. The three week estimate turned into five weeks, but with a bedroom that old I wasn't surprise (and they warned me to expect a few oddities). They present good options for each item; new bathtub, custom vanity, floor tile, wall tile. And listen to changes I wanted and took the time to understand why. The only thing I would do differently... get a better idea of what they need me to do and when it needs to get done. There was a problem with the granite that was originally selected and it wasn't communicated early enough to prevent a delay in the project. Not a huge issue, and it could've been avoided if i'd been more "hands on". I will use them again for my kitchen. I just hope Angie's List has another great deal when I'm ready."
