The attention to detail/pride they take in their work truly stand out and far exceeded our experiences with contractors in the past. One of my favorite parts is how much I genuinely love coming home now. It completely changed the look and feel of the front of our house, and every time I pull into the driveway it makes me happy to see it. I will absolutely be recommending AVSTEP to anyone planning renovations or building a home. "Eddie Costa and his ETC Home Improvement team are the only general contractors I will work with. I have used ETC many times over several years, and I am never disappointed. Eddie is my general contractor for several rentals and my home. He put a beautiful kitchen in a shore rental, does every aspect of the construction bringing in great plumbers and electricians, too. Eddie aligns his work and subcontractors so it goes fast. He brings in locally constructed kitchen cabinets that are beautiful. Eddie is just finishing a home office addition and master closet for me, and it turned out perfect. Finish carpentry by Carlos is amongst the best I have seen. I can’t say enough about how professional Ed is, and all the team he brings in. His prices are very reasonable for the quality you will get. For major projects, you will not have to hires anyone else, he has the best on his team. I recommend Eddie and ETC at the highest level."

"We are very happy with the work. Arthur was trustworthy and cared a lot about the quality of the work, ensuring that his own workers and the subcontractors completed things properly. We were able to talk openly about costs whenever changes were necessary, and we finished the project on budget. We enjoyed working with him and his crew, and we felt comfortable having his workers as part of our household for the seven months it took to complete the project. Most of his subcontractors were equally conscientious and helpful (there was one exception, and Arthur addressed it quickly when we brought it up). The project would have benefited from better time management and more coordination between the subs, and we had to be persistent about defining the schedule and ensuring that things moved as quickly as possible. But in the end, we are very happy with the results and the cost. Hubert Construction would be our first call for any additional projects, and we have recommended them to our neighbors."

"Dennis and his team installed a new beautiful bathroom from scratch. They had to build the room, install new plumbing, attach to the HVAC, frame and install the door, tile, paint, install all the fixtures, sink, toilet, handicap bars, and build outside stairs They did an excellent job. All their work was great, Dennis was always here when he said he would be and called back promptly when I had questions. His team was very nice and neat. I am very happy I chose Dennis for the job. I would use him again for any future work."

They gave us the most honest quote, with full transparency as to what the materials costs - including receipts - and then were the kindest and most detailed oriented when it came to the work in our home. Client comes first for these guys. I had thought because it was a smaller job, they might not take it so seriously but these guys exceeded our expectation. 5 stars"

"Our project was a 14' x 14' screened porch. We selected Scott SCS from other contractors based on the interview, his knowledge, understanding of the project, and communication skills. He improved our original design and made numerous suggestions during the construction process. He understood our vision of the porch and he delivered. From start to finish Scott and his work crew were always on time, polite, professional, and cleaned up the area before departing every day. I was on site watching and taking photos. So I can attest to the craftmanship and attention to detail of the crew. Every day I was informed of their plans and then I provided my thoughts, ideas, and concerns. We are extremely pleased with the finish porch and I would highly recommend SCS. They are a 10 in every category."

"Sal amazed us. Hiring contractors is funny business. If you have an older home, you have probably had mixed experiences. Certainly everyone has heard, or experienced, a horror story. We've wanted to finish our attic and make an office for quite a while, and had a few false starts. I went to Angi's, quite honestly, out of desperation. Entered a description of work needed - didn't need to join - GREAT INTERFACE ANJI! Sal called me shortly after I posted, came over quickly, was great and understood our needs, so we hired him. Here's where the amazing things started happening. Sal shows up, on time and with the nicest crew. We can immediately tell we are in good hands. I talk to my wife, and we agree to ask Sal about several other issues around the house; rotting deck stairs, mold damage in the foyer from old leak, small plumbing headaches. Sal takes a look, says no problem, and gives us a good number. Now we not only have the attic space of my wife's dreams, but we can go into the holiday with ALL work done (understand we met Sal around Thanksgiving, and he did a lot of work.) Thanks Sal and the guys, you were delightful to have in our home. ps. I've always felt a good boss is somebody who is willing to work harder than his employees. Sal is a good boss. Hire Sal!"
