"We had our home's entire roof replaced by Near Me Roofing Company. After getting several quotes,, and we were certainly not disappointed in our selection. The job took an entire day, from early morning until evening, but in the end, Ari and Elijah left the job site very clean, their workers were courteous throughout and, most importantly, we now have a beautiful new roof."

"Summary: The entire experience was excellent. Good communication throughout the process, and they did exactly what they said. They did the demolition on the cabinets, countertop, and backsplash, refaced some existing cabinets, and added a lot of custom cabinetry, along with a quartz countertop. The price was under 1/2 of what several other companies quoted. Price: They charged us under half of what some other companies quoted. However, it's not quite apples to apples, because those other companies folded in everything (plumbing, electrical, etc). I did some prep work myself to demo the existing island, and arranged the plumber and electrician myself. I ended up saving over $20k all told. What they do: They removed existing cabinets based on our contract, removed the existing tile backsplash and repaired the dry wall so that it was "tile ready". They installed custom cabinets (much higher quality than the existing boxes), faced all the cabinets to make the transitions from older boxes to new ones undetectable, added the new island and countertop. They replaced all doors with soft close hinges, and all of the new drawers also have soft close slides. The new cabinetry is very well made, real wood boxes, and high quality materials. What I did: before they came out, I took out the existing island. I also arranged for plumbing and electrical, as needed, and repaired the floor around the new island. After they left, I tiled the backsplash, installed the open shelving, and put soft close drawer slides in the old drawers to match the new ones. Timeline: Once we put down our deposit, we waited just about 5 months, which was a bummer. But once they started, they were true to their word and were done within 8 days. Results: We ended up with a really nice kitchen. The layout makes a lot more sense, and we essentially doubled the amount of usable counterspace. The cabinets and drawers are all soft close, and while we did put in some open shelves, we ended up netting about the same amount of cabinet storage with the addition of the new lowers along the wall and the much larger island. Other odd notes: We have two cats and two giant dogs, and needed access to the kitchen space during the remodel. They were really good about keeping doors closed and keeping the area tidy at the end of each work day. We planned to not use the kitchen during the remodel, but they did indicate that they would work with us if we had to."

"Rick and Kelley were prompt, conscientious and professional. Their work was precise and expertly performed - their attention to detail and their adaptablility to the unique features of my kitchen were amazing! They arrived promplty and cleaned up the work area each evening before leaving my home. They provided excellent suggestions while the work was in-progess, and included detailing that wasn't originally a part of the kitchen, which enhanced the final outcome (ie. installed a small matching board above the trash compactor that had been left open previously). Respect for my time is very important to me, and it was honored by Rick and Kelley -- they kept me informed of their arrival times and the job timetable along the way. <br /> <br />"

"We started our search for a kitchen remodeler with Keystone Kitchens based on the many positive reviews. The bottom line is that those reviews were correct. After our first meeting with Dennis Delaney on the design, we decided to skip searching any further confident we had found the right company to work with. Dennis listened carefully to our thoughts and helped us sort out what was truly important to us. He is very knowledgeable about current trends and what things would work well for us. Bror Lawrence was the engineer who took the beginning design and turned it into a project plan that could be used to drive the construction of the cabinets and provide the installer with a viable game plan. He suggested that we give thought to the project and encouraged our input. Bror was efficient and made himself available, using both meetings and email to ensure that we knew what and when decisions needed to be made. He proved very skillful at listening first and then providing solid information and rationale about what was best from his considerable experience. One of the things we initially did not appreciate was how many decisions were required and the vast array of materials available that would require an artist/design eye. Susan Wittenbrink in the showroom was incredibly helpful with the critical details like helping us pick the right granite for the countertops, natural stone for the backsplash, cabinet hardware, cabinet colors, etc. Susan was generous with her time and talented in her ability to let us feel like the decisions were ours while gently guiding us in the right direction. I have saved the best for last. Our demolition and construction were scheduled on the same day as our big snow storm. We live on a hill that is steep and impassable when it snows. That morning we had a knock on the door and Omar Halaweh. our installer had parked his truck at the bottom of the hill and trudged about 1/3 mile up the hill just to introduce himself. He also helped a neighbor whose car was stuck on the hill, the first demonstration of his generous nature. Over the next month we got know to and appreciate Omar. I know just enough about finish carpentry to be dangerous, but I learned much more watching Omar. He exhibited a rare balance between being a perfectionist and being efficient. Because of the snowstorm, he started almost a week late and yet finished early. He is a highly skilled craftsman who takes pride in his work. Along the way he made many valuable contributions to the overall result – most notably in wisely suggesting some modifications to our existing lighting. One thing that surprised me was how much of the work Omar was able to do by himself. When subcontractors were required (electrical, plumbing, flooring) he managed them very effectively and it was obvious that they respected him and had worked with him before. There were too many things to count that Omar did to give us the best product that he could. I was particularly impressed with the way he worked around some of my previous “accomplishments” such as fitting the cabinets to my flooring. The bottom line is that Omar is hard-working, meticulous, dedicated to a quality product, and a great person to be around. The things that sold us on Keystone initially were the people we dealt with and they exceeded our expectations. The finished product is better than we had envisioned when we started thanks mainly to the counsel we received along the way from the team. It goes without say that we wholeheartedly recommend this team. Thank you, Keystone Kitchens team."

"Debra (the designer) was great to work with - Both she and the contractor worked together with us on the redesign of our kitchen. They addressed all of our questions and concerns in both the design and the remodel schedule and also provided suggestions to make the final design more efficient. We went through a number of iterations of the design and layout of the cabinets but Debra worked with us and we are very happy with the results. The work was done professionally and on time. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />When we were placing all the items into our new cabinets we discovered that we needed more shelves in some of the cabinets. Debra ordered them and delivered them to us - no additional cost. One of the pull-outs we had didn't close properly and  the owner, Dan, came out to fix it and ended up replacing the slides. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />"

FAQs for cabinets reface projects in Enumclaw, WA

Absolutely. Refacing returns 65% to 80% of your investment at resale, and you get an updated kitchen right now. Because you’re not paying for new boxes or demo work, the price lands well below complete replacement but still delivers a fresh, custom look that buyers—and you—notice every time you walk in.

To trim costs, start by pricing a high-quality paint or gel stain instead of full refacing—stain alone can be one-third the price of full refacing. Keep existing hinges and pulls if they’re in good shape, and shop sales for sandpaper, primer, and sealer. The sweat equity is real, but so are the savings, and a careful DIY job can still leave your cabinets looking sharp for years to come.

A professional crew needs only three to five days to reface a standard kitchen, although a larger layout or intricate door style may add one to two days. Compare that with the several weeks a full cabinet swap can drag on. In other words, you get your space back fast, often before the paint on the new doors is even fully cured.

Yes, you can replace just the cabinet doors and drawer fronts without covering the cabinet boxes. Cabinet refacing involves installing new doors and drawer fronts while applying veneers to existing cabinet boxes. If you’re satisfied with the condition of your cabinets, swapping doors and drawer fronts reduces labor and materials, saving you time and cost. Always consult a professional to confirm compatibility and ensure a seamless, high-quality finish.

Most cabinet refacing projects do not require removing countertops because professionals can access doors and drawers around existing surfaces. However, if your countertop overhang prevents full access to the cabinet boxes, contractors may need to lift the countertop to install veneers properly temporarily. Discuss this with your refacing specialist during the on-site estimate so you know exactly what the project entails.
