"Refreshing to find a knowledgeable, professional, capable technician who told me that the ice maker issue on my refrigerator was a manufacturing design issue and that I should contact Samsung about it as there are many claims for this issue and class action cases for this. Andrew's honesty saved me several hundred dollars for an issue that was corrected and paid for by Samsung. Andrew finished the repairs on the dryer and it was finally working after waiting 6 weeks plus for the other service provided by A&E Service to return to complete the remaining dryer repairs. Even when they came out to diagnosis the refrigerator, the technician claimed he was not allowed to complete the repair on the dryer. Discovered that this was a false statement. Have given out Andrews name and some business cards as great technicians are extremely scarce in this location. Andrew responded to call within an hour and came out within a day. "I used American because they could come to my house a few days before my appointment with another company. Billy came on time, and it was clear he was familiar with the cook top and the problem. Unfortunately he did not have the wrench of the right size (which happens to be 20mm) so he could not disassemble the cook top. He made an estimate, and gave me the option to buy replacement parts from Sears Parts Direct myself if I wanted to. It turned out Sears did not have all the parts, so I asked American to get the part that Sears did not have, and bought the rest myself. At the next visit, the replacement part that Billy brought did not fit, because the cook top was an old model and there were two variants for the potentiometer. That part was discontinued. So Billy went back again, and eventually got the two units that I needed. It took a third visit to finally fix everything. Over the three visits, Billy did quality repair work, and was very candid in explaining things to me."
