"Jeff (the owner) came by to assess a crack I had seen in my foundation. He told me that it wasn't actually a crack in the foundation but a crack in some superficial cement that was smeared over the actual foundation and is just a cosmetic problem that doesn't need to be dealt with. He gave me some advice and recommendations for some gutter work and didn't charge me a dime.
I really do appreciate the honesty because I really hate getting a sales pitch. I'd recommend this company to anyone who is looking for someone to give an honest assessment and I trust them to do honest work if I ever need it in the future

"Of all the contractors I've worked with over the years, Georgia Crete is one of the best.  They are professional, courteous, prompt...everything you would want in a contractor.   They did as they said and said as they did...hard to find these days.   After concrete was poured, they also kept it wet for several days with sprinklers and plastic during the curing process to help prevent future cracking.  After 5 years, no cracks so far in an outdoor environment."

"We are very pleased with the work Ashu and his crew did to replace our old problematic wood porch and railings with a beautiful, solid concrete porch with brick facing and PVC no-maintenance railings. The project had its challenges, and he persevered and excelled at meeting them. He is methodical and detail-oriented, and a perfectionist. His quote was very fair, and he kept a detailed list of all expenses to go over with us, as we had to add some materials during the project that neither of us anticipated. He is very honest and hard-working, and made sure to keep the work area clean at the end of each day. It was a pleasure to work with Ashu, and we highly recommend him."

"John and Justin put in a stairway to my backyard and it was overall a great experience! They were professional and very kind. I will be giving them a call for any other projects that come up!"

FAQs for concrete delivery projects in Esom-hill, GA

The amount of concrete you need varies by project. One 80lb bag covers an area of about 2 square feet, for a slab 4 inches thick. Two 60lb bags of concrete cover an area of about 2 square feet for a slab that is 6 inches thick.

A truckload of concrete can usually hold a maximum of 10 cubic yards.

The cost of concrete per cubic yard depends on which brand you purchase, but usually costs about $110 for bags.

It takes about 41 bags of concrete to fill a cubic yard. Always plan to buy a few bags more than the exact required amount in case of mistakes.

To calculate the amount of concrete you need for a slab, you should find the cubic yardage of the area you will be filling. Just follow these steps:

  1. Measure the area in feet.

  2. Multiply length by width, and then by thickness.

  3. Divide the resulting number by 27 to find cubic yards.
