"I couldn't have been more pleased with Charm City Roofing. Home repairs, especially roof repairs were something I dreaded to think about. My experience with Charm City Roofing changed all of that. Starting with my point of contact Mac who did a WONDERFUL job explaining the process and providing a comprehensive step by step of how the installation of my replacement roof would be completed. My home currently has solar panels which needed to be removed before the installation of the new roof could begin, due to the slow response from the solar company this took over 4 months! Dispite this headache, while waiting for the removal the Charm City Roofing Team checked in with me periodically, maintained my tentative install date and continually assured me they would get the job done. "I sought out three bids from highly rated Angie's list roofing companies. I eliminated one company that would not provide an estimate unless they could present it in person with my wife present (code for high-pressure sales). The second company was great, but did not get their bid to me until almost a week after they promised it. By comparison, Joe Makay got right back to me on first contact and every time I had a question. He was able to work my project into the schedule within a week and got got the entire large and complex job done in just two days. The end result was outstanding and well worth the price. I only rated their price as a B because their cost was somewhat higher than the other (larger) company that bid; however I went with Mckay because they were more responsive and customer service focused. I felt confident they would take good care of me and they did just that."

"Initially they gave me two quotes, one to have the old roof surface torn off and resurfaced, and a second quote to only resurface the existing structure. The quote that included the tear-off was only a few hundred bucks more (about 300) and would have been well worth the price, but my father, whose roof was being redone, did not find it necessary. The completed the job in a few hours while I was at work, so I was not around to see the process, but my father said they did well. The only critique I have is that some areas were a bit patchy, making the finished result not look as clean and neat (important since it will be seen from the roof-top deck). But the seal is great, has a 10 yr warranty and I have no fear about leaks....time will tell =)"
