"I contacted JA drywall to work on some popcorn ceilings for me. Josh was very responsive and arrived on time to give me an estimate. To his credit, he did inform me that his estimate would probably be higher than other estimates I would receive. I decided to go with Josh because I felt he was honest, how he communicated with me and because he was available via telephone. Unlike other drywall contractors, who did not show up or were very flaky with the communication. Josh started the work on time and finished when he said he would be complete. Josh did a great job with my ceilings. The drywall was installed, taped, and sanded. I was very impressed with the work they did and I would absolutely hire him again. If you’re looking for drywall to be completed, Contact Josh and then call other companies and you’ll see the difference in communication. A+ in my book."

"Alpha & Omega PMR did a good job with repairing my window I was having a draft come thru my front window and because the window balance was off he was able to rebalance the window and repair the spring loads as well as replace the locks and clips to repair it, saved me a headache of replacing the entire window frame. "There were a lot of issues initially and I contacted Angie’s List and you were able to help us resolve it. What happened was that I got the deal, I wanted my daughter to use it because the kind of windows that they were going to install weren’t appropriate for my house and I felt that my daughter can profit from that under the circumstances better than I could. So she took the deal and it was not so good initially because apartments were not kept but it turned out fine because they got the windows done and they were pleased with them. They honored the price for two windows. The problem was with scheduling and that sort of thing. The issue was not really honoring the commitment to come at a certain time or to get the work done by a certain time. They did a good job of installation once they did it. I only had one contact with them and I wasn’t happy with that because he wanted to do a complete inspection of the house and I was focused on the windows not so much so on insulation. So I knew that wasn’t good for me and I wasn’t happy with that interaction but here again, in all fairness my daughter was satisfied with the interaction that she had."

"I signed the roof contract. The work was scheduled. About an hour prior to the worker arriving, I got a call from C asking for a deposit. I explained that no one told me a deposit was required. The contract also did not mention a deposit--even in the large amount of small print at the bottom. I refused to give the deposit and stated that once the work was done, and it was a job of just several hours, I would immediately pay the ENTIRE amount. C continued to insist on the deposit or she was going to cancel the job for the day. She called me back several times to argue her point. Finally I told her, if the worker does the job TODAY, you will get all of your money, but if you continue with this deposit nonsense I am done with you. I also told her that her behavior resulted in the company losing the gutter job. The worker arrived. He did a good job. I was very happy with his work. There would be an A rating, except for C's behavior. The contract stated that the company was keeping left-over material. The worker did not take it. I told them on the phone when I paid that it was available outside my garage. After 2 weeks I got rid of it. I hired this company because the estimator found all of the places where shingles were damaged, so good work there. Guys from two other companies wrote contracts that did not include all of the damage. They must not have look carefully. I could see the damage with binoculars. I don't understand why C had to create a problem where none existed. I always conduct business with a written contract. When you have a written contract, nothing outside the contract exists--there are no verbal add-ons. Do not want to deal with people who do not behave in a professional manner."

Wesley and his team were probably the best (or at least top 3) we dealt with. Always first there and last to leave. very flexible with other contractors working in the space. "My original appointment was scheduled for November 2nd.  He came back on November 5th because he did not have a part he needed - thankfully I was working from home on the 5th or the installation would have taken longer to complete.
Frankly I did not understand not having the part - there is a hardware store very close to me as well as a Home Depot and Lowe's approximately a mile away.  However it did work out on the 5th and the new faucet prevented water leaking below my sink which I was not aware of until I removed items for the installation.  Very happy the situation is rectified!
