"I am super impressed with the quality and warranty. Definitely a step up from the builder grade windows we currently have and that are available at the big box stores. And the warranty is a lifetime warranty on all parts and glass and is transferable. I worked with Joe. He was very friendly, and knowledgeable."

"TNT used subcontractors who did a fine job but were not licensed in my city. Inspector put a stop work on the job. Took almost a week to resume work due to the city and lack of communication between TNT and the subcontractor. Yesterday's re-inspection says we need a handrail on the deck. I have texted TNT and not heard back yet. Tad is a bit slow to respond when things go wrong. He takes a day or two to text but doesn't often call back. I would like to hear back on the same day or at least by the next day. The salesman said it would be a 3 day job. So far it's been 2 weeks. I'm hoping they install the rail and get it inspected and finished this week. That will be 3 weeks."

"living space and then extending the patio beyond it -- and the end result is honestly incredible. What used to be a space we could only use part of the year is now a true second living area we use all the time. The transition between indoor and outdoor feels super seamless, and the added patio space outside makes it perfect for hosting or just relaxing. Throughout the whole project, their team made the process feel manageable and well thought out. Everything came together exactly how we had hoped, and you can tell a lot of attention went into both the design and the build quality. It completely changed how we use our home -- couldn't be happier with how it turned out."

"Decks of Distinction (Matt and Isaac) did a great job building a covered deck for us. I had several quotes, but their approach, commitment and follow up in the process lead to finalizing a contract. With the build, the process was seamless with quick responses. Matt and Isaac worked with the city to get the approved permit and scheduling all inspections. I was impressed with the great follow up during the build. Their staff was professional (Josh and Arthur), worked clean and were diligent in addressing any questions I had. They stayed on track despite the January weather. Overall, very happy with the workmanship and professionalism of this team. Their customer service and the quality of work was great compared to other contractors I've used, the reason I would strongly recommend them. Josh S."

"We highly recommend Daniel Semeacov and his crew. We would hire them again in a second. They built 2 beautiful decks for us. We went with Tiki-Torch TREX Transcend with hidden fasteners (those are great). Tiki-Torch looks like redwood, and it is a composite material which is on our HOA approved list. We got a number of quotes before hiring Daniel, and as with all builders, we checked out his references. They were excellent as were the photos of previous projects. His estimate was fair and we didn’t have to wait forever to get a quote. He sent it a few days after he was here, just like he said he would. Several of the deck companies who contacted us and came out took weeks to send us a quote. We paid a reasonable deposit upfront and then paid the rest in installments as the work was completed. That is so smart. We wish more contractors did this. It gives homeowners confidence that the builders are solvent and honest. The workmanship on the decks was excellent. Floor Boards were properly and evenly spaced. Stairs and railings were well built. Every worker respected our time and respected our property. The crew showed up when they said they would. If the weather forecast was going to be too inclement to work on a particular day, they let us know ahead of time. Btw, they finished our decks in about 7 days in mid-January. So, yes, they build year round. They definitely handle the cold weather better than most people. Maybe that’s because one of the carpenters used to work in Siberia. No kidding! Lol! That said, we also were fortunate with the weather. There were only 2 days in January where it was too cold or snowy for them to build. The work areas were cleaned up every single day, and every scrap of trash was hauled away at the completion of the project. In the past we served on our HOA Boards, and we hired builders for many capital improvements. It was always a treat to find a builder who did excellent work, who was conscientious, and who was affordable. Finding Daniel from Angi was a real treat. We highly recommend this deck builder and his crew. Dee in Denver"

"Original bid was $850. Somehow it ended up costing $1200. I'd rather know the price up front than be lied to. Every trip he made to the house there was a new issue that increased price. I have since spoken to a couple of installers who assured me that the items he charged me extra for should have been included at no charge and he should have known to look for them when he did the original bid. Like how thick was the existing door and the replacement door? Charging extra to replace trim that you removed? I wouldn't use him again. Which is sad. I would have paid the higher price if that's what he had quoted to begin with, but to nickel and dime at every turn seems shady and I don't want to business with that kind of businessman. The house was under contract and he knew that I had to get the job done, which he gladly took advantage of, running up the price. Don't take advantage of people. It isn't nice. Like I said, I needed the job completed, the issue wasn't the price, I would have paid the $1200, the issue was the way that the man does business. If this is the way that Wayne treated me, I shudder to think of how he would take advantage of someone else who would be easy to take advantage of, say and elderly person or someone else who was rushed. It's better to be up front and honest. The job took longer than anticipated but not excessively. I've noticed that any home improvement job seems to take longer than scheduled."

"The Adirondack chairs that Blue Timber built for us have been fantastic. We've had them in our backyard, in the sun and weather, for 3 years now and they are still holding up strong. It is very nice having a solid place for my wife and I to relax and reflect on the day."

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Estes Park, CO

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
