"I can't say enough about how fantastic Rhinos Roofing Company was to work with. Miguel and his team showed up everyday on time and cheerfully ready to work. They replaced our large A-framed roof and installed new gutters. Miguel really cares about making customers happy and went the extra mile to leave the property very clean. He's also, by the way, a very nice guy!"

"This roofing job started off bad and continued to the finish. I wanted a professional with a few requirements. Be careful of original structure as it is prefabbed. The workers punched twelve holes in sheeting removing old roof material, requiring sheeting overlay. I requested that roofing nails not protrude through roof in patio area. They were protruding through the entire area. They left refuge sitting on the side of the driveway until I asked to have it removed. The one-week job turned into a two-month Odessey. The job was obviously a side job, piece-mealed together with little supervision little supervision. I am not confident the roof will not fail. prematurely fail. "

"I was really pleased with the new roof job Lifetime Roofing and Renovation performed for my mom's house that I decided to hire them again for my house. Tony the project manager and his crew once again knocked it out of the park. The work done efficiently and and with quality/care. My wife and I are very pleased with how the project came out. The price point for concrete tiles is what I expected given the rising costs of material and labor."

"I had two jobs done by modern method on my rental property. one in 2016 and one in 2019. One was a skylight leak repair and the other a section of leaking flat roof. both jobs took a couple months to mobilize in winter. The skylight repair failed after 3 years. The other section was done with white material, while the rest of my roof is brown, so it looks pretty terrible. As the owner, I was never made aware of this decision- they worked directly with my property manager which I consider unprofessional considering they changed my roof color. I called them out to see what can be done about both. They told me the skylight repair was not done the right way and needed to replace the entire roof section including the skylights. They also said they would torch down some brown material over the white material they provided and quoted me for both. I tried to appeal to them as to why I would give them even more money to do my skylights when they recommended the repair that failed, and also why in the world they would change my roof color. The estimator gave me some options including torching brown material down over the white, paying full price for all of the repair. I called to complain, and they sent their owner over who basically told me that any flat roofing is always done with white material (sorry, not true), that torching brown material over the top is not a very good thing to do, and that the skylights obviously need to be replaced. He didn't have anything to say about why I should trust them to do good work other than "I wasn't involved in the conversations, so I don't know". Very disappointed."

"We contacted Sunshine Gutters after seeing the outstanding reviews on Angie's List. We met with Zack Allen, the sales rep, two or three times in June 2025. We initially were hoping for only new gutter guards, but Zack showed us the gutters were currently have were not installed to ideally drain water and recommended new gutters with their gutter guards. My husband, Tim, wanted to ensure they could make/provide us with creaseless gutters (no horizontal lines/creases), which is what we currently have. Zack said that could be done, but we would not be provided a warranty, which was a risk we were willing to take. I made the 10% deposit on 7/2/25, and the gutters were delivered the week of 7/7/25. Tim immediately noticed that the gutters were too large for our home and not the size of the gutters that we currently have. The gutters also have a crease in them, and we were told they would not have one. Zack came to our home, Tim and I both met with him, we did the measuring together, and he acknowledged that the gutters made are too large for the home. We were also told at that time that they had to make the gutters with the one crease, and we pretty much had to just accept it. We were not told this before them being made. He assured us that if an acceptable solution could not be found for getting the correct-sized gutters, we would get our deposit back. We have been trying to find a solution since the gutters were delivered. Tim and Zack had many text exchanges and phone conversations. On 8/18/25, Zack left Tim a voicemail saying he had been let go from the company. On 8/19/25, Carol Devia called me, and at that time, I informed her that this process had been so difficult and that we had lost faith that they could provide an acceptable solution for us. Carol told me to sign the Notice of Cancellation form and email it to her, which I did that same day. As of 8/28/25, we had not received a refund yet, so I called Carol back. She then informed me that Tammy, the owner, is the person who approves/provides any refunds, and she would, again, remind Tammy to call me. We have not received a refund, and the gutters remain in our side yard."

Customers say: Quick response

"My roof was leaking around the fireplace and my gutters needed replacing but I was hesitant to hire someone as I didn’t know who was reputable. I noticed my neighbor who had roofers repairing the area around his fireplace and I got his roofers names. His roofer was Jorge Maldonado (415) 424-1274. Jorge does roofs (replacement and repair), deck repairs, siding repairs, fencing repairs and exterior painting. I had him check my roof and he patched up the area around the fireplace, explaining what he was doing each step of the way. He also sealed all the roof vent pipes. I also had him replace my rain gutters and he disposed of the old ones. I was happy when Jorge said that my roof did not need replacement at this time, that it was good for about 5 more years. Jorge and his crew did an excellent job. Jorge explained each step of the way and was clear on the price. The workers arrived on time, worked efficiently together getting the job done, and cleaned up after themselves. After Jorge did my roof, another neighbor had him do partial rain gutter replacement for her home. I was really pleased with the job he did and plan to contact him when my roof needs replacing or my side fences. Recommend him to anyone who wants an excellent worker!"

FAQs for flat, foam, or single ply roofing installation and replacement projects in Fairfax, CA

Many roofing pros point to PVC as the top performer on flat roofs thanks to its tough seams and long-term waterproofing. A properly installed PVC membrane can last 30 years or more, resisting ponding water and harsh weather with ease. You will pay more up front than you would for EPDM, but the added durability often translates into fewer repairs and a lower cost per year of service.

Yes, a rubber roof is an environmentally friendly choice. Most rubber membranes contain recycled content and can reflect heat, which helps trim cooling bills in hot weather. Manufacturing has a lighter footprint than many traditional materials, and the long lifespan means fewer tear-offs headed to the landfill. If sustainability is a priority, ask your roofer about brands that carry third-party eco-certifications and confirm they meet local environmental standards.
