I am so glad I've taken my time to find good, honest, trustable and fair plumbing company, and I finally found this R-Plumber company. A few months ago, my place had a water leak in the shower on upstairs bathroom and it caused ceiling damage, etc. so I needed to a ceiling drywall repair, bathroom tile repair, CPVC pipes reconnect, water pressure reducer install, etc. I took my time to compare various popular local plumbing companies in the DMV area and this is, by far, the best I've found due to many reasons: 1. They are licensed, bond, and insured -- They sent me a copy of their license, bond, insurance, and worker compensation. This gave me a relief because I wanted to make sure I hire a professional. You'll need it in case if anything happens. 2. They really care about you and HONEST -- Rene, Luis, his apprentice, and other staff use the best brand and told ,e really honest and professional opinion. I have a limited budget and they told me I can just fix the issue for now. The other companies recommended me to remodel the whole bathroom, which would cost at least $4,000 or much more. 3. Their price is VERY REASONABLE and FAIR -- They do not overcharge at all in compare to other companies in this area. I compared 6 other plumbing companies. Other plumbing companies seem to take advantage of you especially if you don't really know much about plumbing. They either: - could only offer to fix the plumbing and I had to find my other contractor to repair the tiles and dry wall - offer me to fix this issue for $4,500 or more - R Plumber offer me about 40-50% less than other companies. - another well known company (they were featured in local Costco) gave me a price to fix my sink popup assembly for about $700 but I went to home depot and bought the parts myself for $17. 4. They really guarantee that they carry their work by the correct local regulations and to the high standard. -- you can see the photos for reference. - I ASKED them a lot of questions and researched the way they do they work online and everything seems to be done very correctly (e.g., using the right glue, chemical for connecting my CPVC pipes, copper pipes) - They went above and beyond in installing my water pressure reducing pipe by anchoring my water supply pipes so it doesn't get shaky. - They have 1 year labor warranty. Their shower MOAN is lifetime warranty on parts. In fact, I am so impressed that I literary have to write my appreciation on various social media in a hope to help others who are in the same situation as me. This company doesn't spend on marketing but just spend on high quality so I'm really trying to help get this company to top review to help others who are in the same boat. "Shane was outstanding. He followed all safety/COVID protocols, which my family appreciates for any outside visitors. He listened and looked attentively at what work I requested. He provided a quote and I accepted. He went straight to work and installed our three faucets and replaced/updated the shut-off valves (over 19 years old). "They were very professional. Arrived on time. Carefully installed each piece or fixture. Price was quite high but I guess it's the going rate. Everything works O.K. although I would have preferred a fixture that allowed is to increase or decrease the amount of water that comes out of the shower. This one doesn't. It's on or off. I still would recommend them and would call them if I had a plumbing problem in the future."

The job required placing temporary supports under the structures, pouring new concrete footers that came above the dirt line, and installing new wooden posts. I found Sam to be straightforward and honest in explaining what the job technically required, the costs of the work, and what the county would require for permitting. In addition, I encountered unresolved permit issues from the previous homeowner. These issues were unrelated to Sam, but the county refused to issue a permit and this delayed the work. Sam was very patient as I resolved those issues with the county. He even gave me advice on what I could expect from the county as I fixed the issues. Once Sam and his team started work, he made sure I understood the work as they went along. He answered any questions that I had; he explained problems his team found and how they would resolve them to adhere close to the estimate and abide by regulations.
