"Do NOT use this company! We were in urgent need to get a split installed and he was very quick to respond and make an appointment to check our place out. He spent hours assessing our situation and went above and beyond to try see if ge could fix our existing system. While we ended up finally getting a split that worked, he is NOT licensed to do electrical work and blew breakers ( and our microwave) that cost us another $1500 to have a licensed electrician fix. Not to mention he charged us for a snow roof for the unit that he never ordered! Something is terribly wrong here. While he may have a decent reputation in the past, he is not reliable and will try to get your money before the job is done. We had to track him down repeatedly when he didn?t come when he was supposed to and had one excuse after another. . BEWARE!!!! From what I can see, this has been a problem with many others. Thank goodness we didn?t pay him before he completed the job-we?re sure he wouldn?t have come back "

An evaporator coil is the chilled indoor coil that pulls heat out of your home’s air. As warm air passes over it, the refrigerant inside absorbs the heat and sends it outdoors, leaving cooler air behind. Heavy summer use, skipped maintenance, or corrosive indoor air can shave years off that span, while a lightly used, well-kept system can reach the upper end.
