"The work was scheduled and happened to be a cold and rainy day in New England. The crew came in and worked for a couple of hours but soon the weather got in the way. They left for the day and promptly arrived the next morning and spent the whole day to finish the work. Almost 300 ft of gutter was installed and the old ones removed. The work was completed per our expectations and the cost was slightly higher as some damaged fascia boards needed to be removed and replaced."

Had them quote removal of all gutters and put up new seamless gutters, including gutter guards and drip-edge and new downspouts. Needed about 20 feet of rotted fascia replaced also. I initially had an scheduled date for the work, but due to timing issues the company was quick to call and reschedule the appointment for work in a very reasonable time. All told the project cost ~$4000. I feel it was well worth it, shouldn't have to worry about gutters or any issues arising from them for 15 years or more! :D"

"My husband and I wanted to build a new 3 season porch to replace our deck that failed. We interviewed 3 companies to perform the work. We choose Durable Remodeling. Dean Willette discussed the project taking the time to understand what were the key aspects of the project. He then discussed the options that were available to so we were able to make informed decisions throughout the process. The quote was very competitive. Since the deck would cover the outside entrance to our basement a trapdoor needed to be built into the floor. The drawings our architect drew had a spot for the door but the design would have been too heavy to open. Dean designed the door so it was both structurally sound and functional. Everyone we worked with was knowledgeable and professional. The team showed up when committed, the team was knowledgeable and respectful. I always had a way to get in touch with someone to discuss any concerns I may have. When the work finished my house looked fabulous! The work was top notch. "We priced out dumpsters and initially, the dumpsters looked like the way to go but upon reading the fine print, we realized they would have cost more than a bullbag. Each dumpster was about $150-$200 BUT each ONLY included up to 1 ton of material, and the companies would charge me an additional $85/ton over it. The bullbag price was NOT based on weight but rather just filling the bag to the top of the bag. The bullbag not only saved me money, but the people were nice to deal with, but everything they said, they actually did. We have a house on the Cape and we will use them there too in March. We were told up front that there would be an additional $75 fee because of the location, but it is STILL cheaper and easier than a metal dumpster."
