"Unbelievably thorough! Highest quality! Amazing results! Len Creech came recommended by a friend who had used his services. I gave him a call and he came out and did a thorough inspection and gave me a highly detailed estimate. We discussed the problematic areas and how he would approach the cleaning. While his estimate was higher than what I had received from a competitor who did a mediocre job, I am happy to report that his service was worth every dime. He spent a total of 8-10 hours on the job and our carpet literally looks brand new! I cannot recommend him highly enough. The old adage you get what you pay for is true. I paid more than the mediocre service (out of respect I am not naming them), but my results were fantastic! Do not waste your time on other carpet cleaning services! Hands down the best I have EVER had! Happy to more than highly recommend him to all! You won’t be disappointed!"

"I was very satisfied with the carpet and installation.  My only concern was the berber carpet which I chose.  I had previously had berber in the family room and had no problems, but my dog has caught this carpet in a couple of places. <br />"

"After 5 years of not having our carpets professionally cleaned and I just had a major spill earlier in the day. I called PROFESSIONAL CARPET SYSTEMS at noon. This was my 3rd call to request an estimate. The owner James said he can send the tech. (John) out this afternoon. John arrived at 2pm, he gave me the best quoits and said he could squeeze me in and start now. Others were booked out 7-14 days before they could come out just to give me an est. Many stains had to be cleaned, now our carpets look almost new – two thumbs up for these fellows! Thank you, Danny S. in Franklin"

"The end result was good.  But the first cleaning of the shag rug was not adequate, but the Coit team also recognized this and volunteered to take this back for recleaning.  Upon it's second delivery, the rug looked good.  The carpets were cleaned well, and they came back to remove the puckers in carpet that developed upon the first cleaning.  We were pleased with the professional attitude of the Coit crews. <br />"

"We are happy with our experience at Buddy Allen Carpet One. On the day we visited the showroom to shop for kitchen tile, Judson thoroughly explained their products and processes. We were impressed with the installers, Jerry and Bristol. They were hardworking and professional, arriving on time and completing the work within the three day time frame that Judson had estimated. The tile installation appears flawless with special care taken to fit all the awkward nooks and crannies as well as all the open areas in our breakfast room, kitchen and pantry."

"Wow I struck gold when I retained Matt to repair my door. He is a super nice guy and very professional. He knows exactly what he is doing and really enjoys his work. He is fast and punctual and wants to get the job done just right or he is not satisfied. I did not think or even imagine that there was a handyman like him  out there,,,he is just top notch. Anyone who retains his services can rest assured that they have chosen one of the best with a vast background of experience. <br />"

"Great contractor. Highly recommend. We had previously dealt with a well established Nashville firm to refinish our hardwood floors. They were more expensive than other estimates, but we went with them because of their sterling reputation. Imagine our dismay when our previously smooth hardwood floors showed ripples more appropriate to a seascape than floors. We naturally complained and after a thoroughly disagreeable discussion with multiple excuses, he agreed to fix the issue. It took many weeks and phone calls to schedule and while the end result was better, the floors are still damaged. When it came to refinishing the remainder of our hardwood floors, we started looking around for alternatives. We can't say the we found Kyle after exhaustive research or a thorough process, we just kind of lucked out. He came out, gave us a fair estimate, recognized the damage to the floors as primarily being from a crew trying to rush the job. We accepted our proposal, he talked us our of one part of the project (an honest man). His crew was there when he said they would be, they were personable, hard working and as inconspicuous as a crew can be while running sanders, etc. The worksite was left clean at the end of every day. The floors were done on time, on budget, look marvelous, completely match the finish on the previously refinished floors, but without the damage. I cannot say enough things about Kyle and his crew.and urge anyone looking for a hardwood flooring contractor to contact him. He also has the coolest business card."

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Fairview, TN

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
