"This is the 2nd time The good folks at Slabjack have done work for me. Due to erosion, I had a void under my driveway that needed to be filled. I received a fair estimate and scheduled the project a couple of weeks later. Communication during the process was excellent! The crew came out on schedule and completed the work in about an hour. "Tony was super responsive right off the bat after I left a message about our situation. He was very honest, saying that our small project would cost us much more since the job was, in fact, so small. He came by when he was in the area to actually take a look at our issue. Again, he was honest in telling us that adding concrete to the whole side of the garage if we were not going to use it was a waste of money. He, instead, said that he could just replace the original slab (that was probably 20+ years old, but we don't know for sure), and pour the concrete properly. He also said that he would anchor it to the garage foundation, close the gap between it and the driveway, stabilize and level it to the driveway/garage, and increase the overall size of the platform. He gave me an estimate before he left that day; he called me about 5 minutes after he drove off to tell me that he would tie our small, concrete job into another job he had a few miles down the road. This meant that it would subtract $600 from the original estimate, AND he would be able to do it the following week (which was before the rainy season began). He had his crew scheduled for 2 days the following week: one day to remove the old slab and set the scaffolding, the next day to pour the concrete. The job probably took a total of 4 hours to complete, over both days, and it went very smoothly (from my perspective). Tony did not require payment until after the job was complete, and a crew member came by to pick up my payment by check the following day. We actually feel safe going out our side door, which is great! And we can now turn the hose on without almost falling down the hillside; and we also don't have to worry about our garbage cans rolling down the hill and crashing into our neighbors' basement windows. Working with Tony was a very pleasant experience; I appreciated his responsiveness and up-front communication...which you definitely do not get from many contractors or home vendors. I do think that I could have saved money by looking elsewhere, but with the efficiency of the job done, them being willing to tie our project into another local job, and the timing of getting the job completed the following week, we are super satisfied and so glad we were able to make this work with Tony at AAA Solid Concrete Construction Inc."

"Great experiences each time I've used this company. It's really, really hard to get good people to do quality work in Seattle, and Steve Bodine is one of those people. He employs great workers, treats them well and holds on to them for years. He personally is a genuinely decent and nice guy as well. He has years and years of experience and I would trust him with all my drainage needs (that's saying something in Seattle). Bodine also did a fantastic job with my concrete driveway and walkways. I first hired Bodine almost 3 years ago to redirect my downspouts to a new drain field in my back yard. His crew did an amazing job. I was so pleased, I hired them to do some concrete work in my basement. Again, excellent work. Based on that, I then hired them to pour a new concrete driveway and walkway. Again, an incredible job. They really care about getting it right. Bodine does virtually all of their work based on referrals... and they are busy. But if you have a problem, they will take care of it immediately and other times, you just have to be a little patient knowing they're busy taking care of someone else's problems. It works both ways. They were very patient with me when I had to change dates to have my driveway poured due to other work going on at my house. I also want to mention Jim Cuba and Manny, who worked on my most recent project and were terrific."
