"PLEASE READ TO THE END. The owner Klever viewed the job on 6/29/25 and texted me a price of $550 to mow, trim, and clean all the way to the stone wall to install metal posts for a 2"x4" vinyl wire fence (which I already owned) in front of my stone wall. I usually pay under $100 for mowing/trimming. The grass for the trimming was taller than usual so I agreed. Klever gave a price of $600 to install the posts/fence. Klever's younger brother did 80% of the mowing/trimming. They said they would be back the next day to finish trimming and put up the posts/fence. When I went outside, they didn't finish the trimming to the stone wall but was installing the posts/fence crooked, 18" to 24" away from the stone wall. In our discussion Klever kept verbally making excuses and trying to change the agreement. I told him he needed to do the job as agreed. He chose not to keep to the agreement. I now need to hire someone else to clean up his mess and do the job that I requested."

David impressed me with his professionalism and straight-forward approach, and I was not disappointed. Honest and committed to the end. Construction jobs always seem to take longer than expected, and this was true here, as well, but I think it is due to the nature of the business -- coordinating the schedules of several subs and dealing with unanticipated issues, especially when working on an old house. David juggled it all well. His core carpentry crew, Paul and Derek, were skilled, dedicated and responsive to requests. They kept the ball rolling forward. Good quality work at reasonable prices -- it would have cost me substantially more to use one of the larger home remodeling firms and I probably would get far less top-level attention."
