"I think the finishing around the window could've been a little bit nicer. Our basement isn't really finished. It still the brick wall, cement wall.It just seems like it could've been finished off more than it was. They were quick. I didn't see a lot of debris or anything. I know sawing through cement can be messy but they seemed to be very clean and efficient. They were out here pretty quick. We checked around and they were very reasonable."

We needed to replace our garage in South Minneapolis.  After contacting several contractors for bids, Heinen's was the quickest to reply.  Within a few days we scheduled a personal meeting to discuss our garage options.  He arrived on time and listened very carefully to what we were interested in doing.  After meeting other builders, we felt that Greg was not trying pushing a product upon us.  He had some very creative ideas on how to maximize our space on our small lot and really knew the codes and city requirements.  Within a day or so we had our estimate.  The cost was extremely reasonable compared to the others.  I was most surprised when I learned that they took care of the concrete themselves rather than having another business to sub-contract out to someone else.  Since we also wanted a new concrete driveway with our new garage, having one builder saved us a lot of money and kept the process moving much easier.  After signing a contract with Greg, he took care of all the permits and began working within a week. He was punctual, had a very friendly crew, and kept the job site in good order.  He was very concerned that we weren't put out too much during the whole process.  We couldn't be more pleased with the quality and craftsmanship of our new garage!  When we needed to make a change during the process, he was very responsive and didn't mind helping us through the details.  We feel that we now have a very dependable contractor that we will call for any and all future projects."

Joe is thoroughly professional, friendly, extremely detailed (you will know exactly what you owe before the final bill comes) and is a good listener. Joe and the office crew kept us apprised of materials delivery and dumpster install and removal. John did the installation. "I originally had Tom come out to draw up some landscaping ideas for me. During our discussion he mentioned that he also does concrete work like driveways and sidewalks. I asked him if he would give me a quote to do my driveway. He said maybe we could work out a trade, a new driveway for a 1999 GMC pickup that has been sitting next to my garage for years. We made a verbal agreement and it was a done deal. I got rid of a truck and got a new driveway, talk about killing two birds. It all happened pretty quick too. The size of the driveway and the quality of work could not have been any better. His workers were friendly and at times entertaining. They work very well together, putting any of my concerns at ease. The service before, during and after was unbelievably great. It went so well I thought it was too good to be true and something had to go wrong but it didn't, Tom wouldn't allow it. I finally found someone that was as big, if not a bigger perfectionist than myself. My wife and I couldn't be happier."
