"Paul completed an entire reconstruction of our kitchen with custom cabinets, including wall removal and beam installation. We trusted him with our design, plumbing and electrical issues and he did an excellent job. Not only is he a master at his craft, he construes complete professionalism at all times. The thing that I appreciated most about Paul, was that he showed up. Every single day he was the first one here and the last to leave, along with his son, Justin. Not many general contractors hold themselves to that caliber. If we had any questions, concerns, or changes, they were addressed immediately and efficiently. He helped us think outside the box and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. He talked me off many a ledge and even helped me with paint colors. Hi my name is Chris Hill I run Hill Exteriors and we are a small local residential construction company mainly focusing on exterior work but we have the skills and knowledge to tackle almost any project you have related to your home. I grew up as one of those kids who loved tools and taking stuff apart and putting it back together and started my career off at Home Depot at the age of 18 where I ended up being promoted and managing the paint department there. I trained under an extremely skilled contractor for about a decade before he retired and he left me with the skills ,knowledge and the accounts to be able to continue the work he had trained me to do at fair prices. "I started this process by getting 4 bids from reputable companies. One of the things you should be aware of is that some out there will try to take a lot of your time with demonstrations/high pressure sales. The price will be crazy and you will wonder why. It's simple...the big guys have to pay for overhead and all the salesmen that come to your home. Affordable Siding and Windows is a small company and has an advantage in having an owner in Jesse Elizondo, who also leads the crew that will be installing your windows. His bid was the best value based on the quality and scope of work. His crew removed and installed our blinds. No other company offered to do this. It eliminated another hassle and sold me on using them. Jesse kept me up to date with the window order and we selected an install date that never changed. The install took 2 days as we replaced all 14 windows in our home and a new front door. Each day they were there on time or slightly early with plenty of manpower. His guys are very hard working and the absolute best at keeping the work area clean. I saw a guy cleaning our floors as they rolled up each day and another one sweeping near the work area with a magnet to remove any screws/nails. The door frame that came with the door was the wrong size (my fault in ordering) but did this stop them? Nope. Jesse went to Home Depot and bought what was needed to to reconfigure. Again- zero hassles. I have a feeling if we went with anyone else this would have been a huge problem. At the end of the project, our house looks and feels better than ever and I would encourage you to hire Jesse and his team if you need windows/doors/siding. They are true professionals."

Charlie Means came by about a week before the job started. He gave us a sound, itemized estimate, was professional and personable. The quote as all inclusive and he guaranteed his work. He anticipated the job would take two days. His brother Larry runs the paint crew.

Larry and the team of 5 painters showed up about 0800 as planned. They first reviewed the work to be done and gladly took on the extra work offered on the interior fireplace trim and rear storm door, and painting our address fixture over the front entry (no reservations, nothing but "Sure, we can do that!). The exterior was power washed by part of the team while the others set to work on the repairs. They did a great job here, going above the norm in my view to make sure that their fixes last! They did a great job on the painting... I haven't seen any drips or overruns. They are obviously a happy team, joking with each other and driving each other to do a superlative job, while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

There were a couple of very pleasant surprises that we did not anticipate... first, we did not get charged for the extra work we requested at the last minute. Second, they finished the two day job in less than one day (they were done, packed, cleaned up by 4PM). This greatly exceeded our expectations!

Charlie and Larry Means (and their team!) are honest, class guys. When they tell you they will do something, it gets done. I will recommend them to anyone for a repair and paint job anytime, anywhere.
