"Thomas solved a number siding and roof leak issues I had which also required some extensive carpentry and drywall work. He was a first rate professional throughout the entire job. Extremely pleased with the quality of his work and the way he kept me informed throughout. Heâ s a versatile guy too and I plan to use him on future projects as well. His pricing was quite reasonable. Couldnâ t be happier! I highly recommend him!"

"I had a great experience with Tanner and the whole team from start to finish. I came to them with an idea for an outdoor office now that I'm working from home. After they came out and surveyed the property, we went over some design options to ensure it had what I needed, not just what I had them bid on. It wasn't an upsell either - we made changes that lowered the overall cost while increasing the durability of materials by sacrificing an aesthetic design choice I had made earlier, not realizing it was a large cost factor. The scheduling was great - they showed up and left when they said and kept the site clean between work days. I was able to watch them do a lot of their work, and it was done with skill and quality. The final product looks amazing and I'm already planning two other projects where I'm going to have them bid."

"I recently had my bathroom worked on by Joe and his team, and I couldn't be more pleased with their service. I've had bad luck hiring help in the past, but from start to finish, Joe and his boys knocked it out of the park. They provided a great quote, got to work quickly, handled unexpected curveballs with professionalism and kept me informed every step of the way. They stayed committed to ensuring the job was done right and stayed within the quoted price. Joe and his team were respectful and dedicated, making the entire experience go smoothly. I highly recommend them for whatever projects you need done, and I look forward to hiring them again."

"Jim Peterson, worked hard and fast to get the job done. We were on a very tight schedule and on the spur of the moment he took the job and got it done faster than we expected. Thanks to his hard fast work, none of the other jobs we had scheduled were delayed. He also left the place clean. I would recommend Jim and I would hire him again."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
