"The technicians showed up the next day to give us a quote, and then (once we agreed to the quote) they were able to start work immediately (same day). They installed a chimney cap, sealed two other old chimney pipes (no longer in use), sealed the stone of the chimney itself and also installed a flexible crown seal. It was more than we thought to have done on the chimney, but the peace of mind is worth it. They finished in about 1.5 hours and did a great job. Would hire again."

"Everything went great, there were a couple changes that had to be made as the job progressed, we found out the old toilet had been leaking pretty badly, and there was a bunch of rotting floor boards.  Other than that they completed the job within our time frame, cleaned the house up at the end of each day very well, and really treated our home like it was theirs.  Everything was sealed up with plastic barriers so we wouldn't get dust throughout the house, I was very pleased about that.  We plan to have them back in the next year or two for the kitchen.

"Fantastic isn't a sufficient assessment of the job their serviceman, Rich, did. Not only did he do an excellent job cleaning the chimney and pipes (and replacing/fixing pieces I wrecked) and keeping the room clean, the insert is burning the wood better, cleaner and more completely than when it was installed brand new (it's at least 10 years old). The glass on the door is staying clean and I'm not getting smoke in the house like I use to even when I damp it down. I was late having them come because I had planned this year to replace it (I always had so much frustration with it) . Now I may not. I couldn't be happier."

His team showed up promptly on the morning of the job and got right to work. They stripped the roof, replaced 4 sheets of plywood, replaced all of the flashing, replaced my gutters, added new shingles and cleaned up the site in less than 4 hours. The job looks great and the crew left the site spotless. Couldn't ask for more. Only caveat: their price for the plywood was $95/sheet, which is a bit high, but within industry standards."

The entire area was cleaned up nicely.  
In the fall of 2011, I hired Mr. Home for the first time.  I was getting rainwater coming inside on the basement floor after heavy rains.
 All along the edge of the interior hatchway door,  they jackhammered the floor to break up the concrete.
Then stones were laid, and fresh concrete mixed and poured, to fill hole again.  And a long grate, the length of the door, was
laid down at the edge of the wall to catch any water that tried to come in. Whatever water came in since then would have joined the sump pump system in the remainder of my basement that is directed outside.
I have not had a drop of water on my basement floor since they did that job.  The cost was $295.00 and so well worth it.
Both times I hired Mr. Home I was very pleased with the outcome.  I would definitely hire them again.
