"Due to the nature of the ceramic tile work I had to hire S&L Capinetry & Design on a T&M basis. The original installing contractor of the ceramic tile who was a McSwain Flooring contractor did not back butter the ceramic tile in 2021 (new home). Over the years in 2022 and 2023 over 57 ceramic tiles that were loose in the Master bathroom & toilet room, guest bathroom, entryway and laundry room were removed and replaced by the original contractor. In 2025 the problem got worse and ultimately over 62 ceramic tiles in all the mentioned areas were removed and replaced by S&L Cabinetry and Design. I was given a cost estimate based on what was obvious (approximately 40 ceramic tiles). The 2 man crew over 4 days expertly removed and replaced 62 whole/cut ceramic tiles. They installed proper dust protection, were on time each day, gave me daily updates, back butter the ceramic tile, grouted the joints correctly and completed the project as promised on time. Matt proposed the design after coming to the house, taking pictures/measurements, and discussing the ideas I had. He offered lots of options for cabinets, countertops, and flooring and assisting in the selection. He also assisting in procuring the appliances after I decided on the make/models I wanted. The crew was friendly and knowledgeable. They put down drop clothes and covered doorways as possible to try to minimize the dust throughout the house. There were lots of "surprises" in the soffits, requiring about a week's worth of re-arranging plumbing and electrical. This caused a delay in completion of the project and added expense, but I felt the charges were fair. The final product is an updated, open, functional, and beautiful kitchen that I will enjoy and I know will add value to the house when it's time to sell."

"Within days of purchasing the deal, I received the instructions and paper to draw my table templates. The table has 2 drop leaves plus 2 additional leaves that can be inserted in the table. The templates were pretty easy to draw. The finished pads were delivered in a very short time. They fit the table and each of the 4 leaves perfectly and magnetically lock together to keep them aligned when on the table. A year and a half later, I still love these pads."

"Absolutely exceptional work. Removed wallpaper and repaired walls to where it looked like new dry wall was hung. Took up old carpet and layers of glued down laminate flooring. Repaired foundation cracks and leveled floors. I hired for wall painting but team also did ceilings, doors and trim. These details made all the difference in the appearance of the finished job. Laid vinyl plank flooring and if the Foundation wasn’t level they took up new flooring and did more leveling. Plus moved all appliances to lay plank flooring underneath. Kept to 10 day timeline. Kept me informed of every step with daily texts or phone calls. No major issues because Matt, team leader, predicted everything expertly. Exceptional team of guys. Project was 1,000 sq ft condo. Will have them back to do baths and kitchen. Wishing I had a bigger home so I could keep hiring for more projects. Many contractors can make things look pretty but if Foundations are not good the work will have problems down road. Matt ensured everything under the pretty is in excellent condition. "Chris and his team did an outstanding job. They were able to get me on the schedule quickly in order to meet a deadline I was facing. The work performed was excellent. The drywall patching was done so well that you can't notice where it was done at all after the area was painted. The painted walls, trim, and doors all look great. "This is a father and son team of extremely knowledgeable and skilled woodworkers.    They were so flexible that they actually rearranged other clients to help me get doors installed in time for a graduation party.   They bring all their own equipment and have more woodworking equipment at their shop.  They took one of the large posts back to their shop to split because it required a specialized saw.  It was a 2 day project.   Everything was installed and looks seamless and professional.   The son also knows a lot about granite, so that was helpful when making decisions about what legs and braces to put on the granite.   On top of great work at a great price, these two are just really nice people.    I would hire them for any remodel or new construction project large or small.
