"I had NO expectations that anyone could fix these antique doors, and was anticipating having to get something new "wedged in" somehow to get them to work again. 
The two sets of doors were sticking, and were only able to be opened from the outside, not inside.
ALL WAS ADJUSTED AND FIXED.
The locksmith showed me how innovative the 1890s lock mechanisms work (a circular turning motion, parts open like an umbrella, using gravity to unlock); and that NO locks are made like this now because it is too expensive of a process.
His understanding and familiarity with older locks was amazing.
It took a little time to complete, but two big, antique door locks were fixed, and no time wasted. I watched the whole time, and found it fascinating.

"This is the second time I have contracted with Quality Counts Painting and both experiences were outstanding. In this case, I had just completed some bathroom remodeling and needed to have the room painted. It also seemed like a good time to have the trim refreshed. I had not expected it but as they found caulking around doors and windows in need of repair they fixed it. Selecting a paint color to match the new bathroom tile presented a challenge for me. Dennis brought paint chips and suggested a couple of options. He acquired samples and helped me make a selection. I had previously decided that I wanted a faux finish on the walls. Tom did all the prep work and base coats before Dennis came in to do the sponging. Great results!! Tom and Pat were here for the bulk of the project.
