"I hired Northstarr Builders after talking to a dozen different builders about two additions on the house. The first, doubling the existing garage, was fairly straightforward. The second, constructing a sunroom that would also function as a breezeway between the house and garage was more complex. Most of the builders I talked to either could not figure out how to make it happen, quoted me ridiculously high prices, or wanted to speak to my husband (rather than to me, who drew the basic designs to submit to the city, pulled the permits, and was paying for the addition). Marty at Northstarr was not only confident that they would be able to complete my custom sunroom but he conversed with me in a respectful manner and was very straightforward when discussing the cost-breakdown of all labor and materials. It has now been 6 months since the build was completed and we are very happy with both our additions.
